Riley “Mike … Being marked wasn’t the original reason we had to go see Caleb.” I sighed as Mike and I walked to the spot where our people were clearing the area to start the build on the pack house extension. He frowned for a moment and then realization struck. We never finished our conversation the night before. I distracted him with business, so I could figure out my own feelings first. “Yes, I know your family got up to something again.” Mike laughed, but I didn’t. “My mother actually told my sister to try and seduce Caleb!” It was no longer funny. Once again, things inside me changed the moment he marked me. I was jealous and, more importantly, I was furious. I couldn’t explain it, and could only think that the bond made me feel this way. “I don’t understand how your sister agreed.
