I would have thought that the moment was over, but I was shocked to find that both Caleb and I were almost overcome with emotion. His arms swung around my waist at the same time mine swung around his neck and our lips crashed together in the kind of kiss I had never before experienced. I wanted him. Now. I couldn’t wait. I didn’t care where we were or what the damn traditions were.
I was flooded by emotions and, most importantly, a huge rush of hormones and I needed him like I needed air. He picked me up, placing his hands underneath my bottom before carefully putting me down on his desk.
