I couldn’t wait to show Riley my new and improved self and her reaction meant the world to me. It reminded me of what an incredible person she was, and I suspected that it also had something to do with why she became a red-eyed alpha. Riley was a good person. She was just that. She didn’t pretend to be anything else. Even after everything her family put her through, she fought for them.
