Since my pack didn’t have issues with accepting Caleb and his people, we decided to stay with Caleb’s pack for the first two days. A lot has happened in the past and even more since I was sold. There was a lot to take care of, and I wasn’t looking forward to most of it. Caleb and I left with his beta straight after breakfast, and it felt really great to run in my wolf form.
Caleb and I were so busy playing and chasing each other that we almost left his poor beta behind at one point, but it was all good. It felt as if I had climbed out of a cocoon and was spreading my wings for the first time. Since I became a red-eyed alpha, I’ve had to hold back a lot of the time, or I would run too fast, or be too strong for my pack members.
