When we arrived to the beach there were several people there so Adam and I weren't alone. We did our best to try and spend time alone but I was quickly surrounded by my friends from school.
"Hey Bella." Jessica said excitedly before hugging me.
I awkwardly hugged her back. Adam who had went to go and take a dip in the water had just returned and grabbed Jessica's attention.
She quickly held out her hand. "I'm Jessica, I'm a Jr. at Forks high, captain of the volleyball team and president of the student council" she said quickly.
Thats Jessica for you. Always out for the hot guys and trying to prove herself worthy for them.
Adam shook her hand and smiled. "It's nice to meet you I'm Adam Masen."
"So, do you live around here. I mean I've never seen you here before." Jessica said.
"I just moved here, I'm sure you know the Cullen family." He replied.
"Are you adopted?" she asked him.
"Jess this is Edwards brother." I said to end the mystery.
I saw her take a step closer towards him.
"Edward's brother, like blood relative or adopted?" Jessica asked
"Edward is my blood brother." Adam said confidently. "My baby brother to be exact."
"Uh if you are free at all this weekend maybe we can go on a date." Jessica asked.
I knew it, Jessica was going to flirt with him. Adam shook his head slowly.
"I'm sorry but I can't." He replied. "I have a girlfriend."
"Who is your girlfriend." She asked through a faux smile.
Adam turned to me and pulled me to into his arms. "Bella, the love of my life." He said before we kissed.
Jessica growled before she let out an annoying screech. "What is it with you!" She shouted at me. "How do you get the two most handsome guys in Forks to fall in love with you, its not fair. You aren't even pretty!"
I broke apart from my kiss to stare at her. "You are supposed to be my friend." I told her.
She scoffed at me. "Me, your friend. Yeah right I was just trying to use you to get close to Edward. Like anyone would want to be friends with you. You are boring, plain, and have no personality at all."
I felt anger in my veins and didn't even bother to control it. I clenched my fist and delivered a right hook to her face. Jessica fell to the ground immeadiately clutching her face and screaming from pain.
"We should go Bella." Adam said as we headed back to the car.
He was right, it was a little past four and I missed my baby girl. I couldn't wait to hold her and that was all I thought of the entire ride home. When we pulled up I jumped out of the car and ran inside. The thought of being apart from my daughter killed me inside. I could feel the pain in my heart from her absence.
When I walked into the house I immeadiately knew something was wrong. Rosalie was standing in the carton beside Emmett which was odd. I thought she would be holding Sarah until I got back.
"Rose where is Sarah?" I asked as I walked over to her side.
Rose looked over to Carlisle and Esme, Esme was making her sounds she made when she was shedding dry tears.
"Rose where is Sarah!" I said louder.
Carlisle joined my side and steered me to the couch. Oh god.
"Bella, Jake never came back." He said in his calm voice.
I rose to my feet. "Maybe he just got caught up and lost track of the time."
I grabbed the keys and headed back to the car. In less than 10 seconds I was on my way to La Push. I pulled up outside Jakes house and slammed on the breaks before I shut off the car and got out. Without knocking I headed inside.
"Billy, where is Sarah?" I asked him. He glared at me. "Where is my daughter?"
Billy wheeled back a few inches before he gave me his attention. "I wouldn't know, shouldn't she be with you?"
I looked around the house for a hint of my daughter. Something to show that she had been here. "Jake came to see his daughter and then he said he was bringing her to visit you. Where. Is. My. Daughter." I finished with a growl.
"Bella, Jake hasn't been back since he left."
I felt my heart drop. Where was Jake and where was my daughter. I quickly headed back out of the house and got into the car before I sped off. There was only one person I could think of to go to right now. My father.
I pulled up outside my dads house and shut off the car. I was broken hearted, I needed my baby. As I got out of the car I broke into tears. I ran straight to the door and fumbled with it before I began kicking and hitting it.
My father quickly opened the door and lifted me into his arms before he pulled me inside and sat me down. "What is it Bells?" He said a bit panicked at my fit.
I grabbed my fathers arm for support as I looked into his eyes. "Dad, Jake.... Jake took her and he's gone!" I cried.
"Damnit!" He swore before he rose to his feet. He headed into the kitchen and pulled on his boots and his jacket before he talked about going to the station to start a Amber alert.
This left me to myself which I couldn't handle. I got back into the car and headed to the Cullens. The moment I pulled up Adam was at my side asking questions. All of them revolved around the whereabouts of my daughter.
"I shouldn't have let her go with him." I cried.
Adam and I walked into the house and settled into one of the rooms upstairs for privacy.
"What if Jake never brings her back?" I whimpered. "That's my baby." I slapped my head several times. "I'm so stupid! I'm such an i***t. I should have listened to my gut when it told me no." I moved to the corner and curled up into a ball before I began crying and screaming. "I WANT MY BABY BACK!" I shrieked.
I heard the sound of a bedspring and then felt Adam's arms around me. He pulled me to his chest and held me. "She is going to be alright." He whispered to me.
I wiped my eyes and looked up at Adam. "I really hope so." I whispered
