Chapter 14Thad held his breath as Sandy stepped over the line of the circle. It worked. He’d feared he wouldn’t be able to cross it, but he did. Two steps outside the line, Sandy disappeared. He was there one second and gone the next. Had it been the same thing with Grim? He hadn’t watched him leave. Stupid.
