ZAYA’S POV
Alpha Kade wasn't angry that I ran away or tried to. He was just... Him. But then again, when has HIM never been angry with me?
He was just as dangerous and cruel as I knew him to be, and he stared back at me with an unreadable expression that worried me.
“Going somewhere?” he asked, c*****g his head to the side. I just want passage out of the pack.
I wanted to answer, to let him know that I wanted to be away from him, but I felt too tired to speak. Gloria was beside me, no doubt freaking out the way I was.
Drew stood beside Alpha Kade, his expression more readable and I could see the worry in his eyes. My body swayed from the wave of dizziness that hit and I was about to fall, but thankfully, Gloria glued herself to me.
“I asked you a question, Zaya.” Alpha Kade said
