Leaving my own room because a certain someone was in my bed had me depending on my office for a space to rest my head. My bedroom had always been a safe space for when Olivia was around and even after she died, it still was.
I just never imagined that I would have another woman lying in the same bed as she did. I didn’t even know what I was thinking about taking Zaya there, but now I wanted her out and my sheets changed.
I also didn’t know how I was going to get her scent out of the room and I hated that it was refreshing even though it had no business making me feel like that.
