KADE’S POV
I left my office in a much better mood. The atmosphere around smelled fresher and there was a light to it I knew I had no hand in bringing.
Finally, some fresh air.
I took in a deep breath and allowed myself to take in what smelled like home for the first time in a long time.
I was impressed to see how thorough she was with her chores and, seeing as she was done, I didn’t want to bother her. She has at least earned the right to rest for some time, something I desperately needed to get rid of the headache that was pounding away.
Heading to my bedroom, my eyes caught Nathan’s room open.
