KADE’S POV
I stared at her lips waiting for them to move as she spoke, but they never did. Instead, she bit on the bottom ones, and I didn’t even know when my hands stretched over to them, touching and grazing lightly over to stop her from biting any further.
I want to kiss them so badly right now. I said to myself, but would she let me?
Zaya lifted her eyes to meet mine. She held a conflict in them, not as hard as the first time when she wanted to stab me but somewhat close. She may have been contemplating whether she should tell me or keep what Jade has to her to herself.
“It’s nothing, Alpha Kade, please let it go.” I can’t. Not when it ruins your mood, whenever, you remember it.
