I had always wondered if Alpha Kade knew that his pack members didn’t like me and that they treated me like dirt.
He had to have known from the bruises on my body. He had to have seen some of their acts or even the tiniest bits of glare and snide remarks that they would make about me.
Most of all, I wondered if he knew that Clarissa hated me, yet he chose to send her into the room.
“I just wish I’m the one who gets to kill you once and for all.” She said to me the moment that she walked into the room, almost as if she knew that Alpha Kade wouldn’t be here.
Her wide eyes screamed bloody murder and if Alpha Kade had wasted even a second before he arrived, I was sure I would have been dead and covered in my own blood.
