Chapter 14

James PoV "What are you doing?" I asked Natasha. "Sleeping?" Natasha's replied. I can't sleep with Natasha, her snoring is loud for me to able to sleep. "Can you at least clean yourself? You are such a pig!" I teased. "I'm too tired for that, I'm already comfortable in your bed." As she closes her eyes feeling my comforter. "Just don't drool on it," I said remembering the last time she slept in my room. I can't believe she is like this but her traits make us close. Natasha is fun to be with, my only problem is her love of food. She is crazy about food. "Hey, will you really sleep like that?" Tapping her shoulder and pinched her oily cheeks. "Ouch!" As she gets hold of my hand. "Mind your own business!" She said and we both hear a soft knock on my door. "It's Lily!" Natasha whispered, "Come in." she then shouted. Lily opened the door seeing us on the bed. Me, towering at Natasha which my arm is still on her hold. "Lily," I said softly. "James, can you let me sleep here, please?" Natasha said in a baby tone, far from earlier. "Fine," I said, giving up my room. "Yes, thank you!" She exclaimed. Her true reaction as she loves already my room. "I'm actually here to offer the guest room which I just cleaned," Lily said glancing the two of us. "Thanks, Lily, I really appreciate that," I said in relief, I can sleep well for tonight. "We can share the room, James." Natasha insisted. If I know, she is now dead happy to be in my room, drooling my pillows. "What are the things you need to bring there James that I can help with?" Lily said as if she is in a hurry. "Nothing really. I can use what's in there." My reply. "Alright. So, let's go?" She said then I can't miss how her eyes went big after the last two words she said. "I mean. I'll better go." She corrected. "Wait, let's go together since it's closer to your room right?" "Actually it's on the last wing," Lily said with a reluctant smile. "The better." I don't want to hear Natasha's snoring if my room is next to hers. "Natasha..., look at that woman, she is already sleeping." I smiled looking at my cousin starting to snore. "Let her, maybe she is tired for the day," Lily said and we both went out from my room after turning off the light. We walked in the hallway very silently as I'm following her back, staring at it. Her hair was in a messy bun but she still looks gorgeous for me. I wanted to touch them and play with her hair that probably her boyfriend already did. I was in the thought when she suddenly stops that I almost bump my forehead on her. Good thing I stopped but holding her in the process as if I'm hugging her back. She immediately faced me from a good distance. "I'm sorry. I didn't notice you stop." I said consciously. "That's the room with the light open." She pointed. "Thank you, Lily. By the way, did you eat already?" I inquired and she just shook her head. "Come on let's go in the kitchen, I'll get a glass of water too." And we both headed in the kitchen.  × × × I didn't leave, instead, I wait for her to finish her food. "You can go, James." She said. "I'm fine. Don't you want my company?" I said with a hint of tease. "Natasha is there." I know what she meant but my cousin will not really mind. "She is sleeping." My answer as I take the seat in front of her. I can see that she was conscious of her every bite or it was my staring that makes her. She was coughing hard after her last and big bite. "Are you okay? Here, take this glass of water." I offered my water. She gulped it slowly making her throat bob up and down, it was sexy. "Thank you." She then said after finishing it. "You're welcome." I took the glass, the plate and the utensils. "What are you doing?" "You've done enough for tonight. Let me wash the dishes for you." I said. "I really appreciate you prepare the other room quickly," I said while facing the sink. "It's for your own good," Lily mumbled which I heard made me smile. "Yeah, it's really good..." And I heard her gasp, maybe those were for herself and that she was embarrassed because I heard her. "James, I think I need to go. Nature is calling." She said and I just let her. Her reaction amused me. "Good night, Lily," I said with a smile.
