Caex's PoV

I slowly walked because I felt Richard could feel my every move I do. I saw the opened door of the library, and when I entered, I saw on the floor the book I was reading all the time. I picked up the book, and I saw a tunnel appeared in front of me. I put it on the bookshelf then I entered the tunnel with caution.

"What exactly are you doing in my secret room?" I asked him, and he turned to face me, and my eyes widened as I noticed his eyes were very red, and it appeared as if someone was controlling him so that I would have backed away with a smile.

"I'll take everything you've got! Especially the one you care about the most!" I noticed that someone controlled him because he was about to rush in and bury his long nails in my body as I quickly left my position.

"You can't get everything I have because you're just weak you are controlling my butler," I said coldly, and it appeared that he was bored with what I said, so when he attacked me again, I moved quickly behind him, grabbed him with my hand, and strangled him in the back.

"I'm not weak! You're just a man who has turned into a monster! So, don't say it--" I strangled him even more so that he couldn't know what he had to say, I'm tired of hearing the word that is, I see in myself that I am a person who has only become a monster, and Scarlet already knows that.

"Forgive me, Richard, I've been a good master, but you need to sleep first," I said to him, digging my nails into his neck and presenting him to me in a flash, his body broken from what was coming out with him, who is behind it all? Who created it?

"Sleep," when I said that, he immediately closed his eyes and lost everything in his body. After that, I healed the wounds on his body with my power, particularly the way he looks now, and I laid him on cold cement, installed that barrier, and left him lying there.

We walked out of the library and went into the living room downstairs, where Scarlet sat in front of me, looking worried about my butler. I knew he was an excellent butler Richard, and his work was clean, and Richard serves me well.

"Don't worry, Richard, he'll wake up when he's well, and there's another traitor among us, so I need to find out," I said to Scarlet, and I looked at her hand, so I took her hand in mine, and she looked surprised.

"I'm just worried that he'll abandon us as well. You do realize he's been here a long time, don't you? I would not do that if I were in your shoes. I'd rather have him taken to the hospital, "He told me, and I did a deep inhale that the hospital couldn't help him.

"Hospital can't help him; a poison is still inside him, and I'm doing everything I can to heal him, okay, so don't worry about him, my Scarlet," I spoke softly to Scarlet, and she nodded, she takes a deep breath and look at me.

"What if the time comes in this world for trouble?" My eyes widened as Scarlet asked, what does she mean by having trouble in this world? How does she know what is going to happen next?

"What? How?—how did you find out? You are nothing more than a wizard, "I asked Scarlet, and she bowed down and formed a circle on her palm, and I looked at it, and my eyes widened when I saw it burning the surroundings, and I saw Scarlet standing in front of the mansion with a newborn baby.

"I feel it, Caex. I feel like I'm going to die in the end. But, you don't have to hide anything because I'll know too," Scarlet said to me, and I was surprised, so all I did was hug her because we had to go through this test.

"I'm sorry if I can't change your future, Scarlet," I said to Scarlet, and she hugged me back. I had heard an explosion outside, so I was relieved to hug her, and she was surprised as well. We looked out, and she would have stood up if I had touched her wrist.

"Stay here. You can't fight someone stronger than you," I told Scarlet, and when I stood up, we heard another explosion, so Scarlet sat on the floor, and when I looked outside, there was a building that is burning, so my eyes widened. This future is not possible right now.

I went out right away and saw a woman wearing a maid. I knew it this past few weeks I noticed something in the maids that one of them was moving strangely, so I followed her and saw her turn around, so I prepared myself.

"Are you willing to let your dearest perish?" Scarlet suddenly entered my mind, so I looked out the window next to me, and my eyes widened when I saw that a man was choking her. Scarlet seemed to be having a hard time breathing, so I would have gone to him when he blocked me and punched me with his hand. But, again, my eyes widened; why is he so strong?!

My body collided with a wall, which immediately cracked, and I looked out the window, where I could see how he throw Scarlet on the floor unconscious, so I wasn't surprised when my aura appeared. My true nature as a monster has manifested itself.

Scarlet's PoV

I'm feeling weak, and when I look in front of me, the man who choked me before approaches me, thinking I'd die right away, but he made a mistake. I put a barrier around my entire body so he couldn't kill me.

"You have to die," he said to me, and electricity emitted from his palm, so I emitted electricity from my palm as well, and he was surprised; did he think I was just an ordinary person?

"You can't kill me," I said, and as he was about to direct the power to me, I teleported behind him and applied power to him that seemed even more substantial to me than him. I didn't waste the opportunity to kill him, so I immediately used electricity on him, and he died at the same time as the floor shook, so I looked outside and saw Caex in the form of a monster.

When I saw him slowly approaching me, I was terrified because of the aura around Caex, especially his fierce eyes.

Doesn't his monster form only appear when I am in danger? Did he see what the man did to me? So this is how he reacts when he finds out I was hurt.

I was going to leave, but maybe I won't because it appears that he can kill the woman who betrayed him, and she was another maid I saw in her clothes and the man I killed was a maid wearing a waiter's uniform.

I slowly walked closer to the window to see how he could finish the treacherous woman, and as I got closer, I saw how he turned it to ashes by just holding it by the neck, and I saw him just bent over, and I was surprised to feel a strong wind, and when I looked behind me, he was there.

"Caex--" I couldn't continue what I was going to say when he hugged me tightly, so I hugged him too. Why is that? I feel like he knows what he's doing? Why didn't Caex even tell me to hug him? And he embraced me.

"I thought I'd lose you again," I heard him say, his voice shaking now that you thought I'd lose him, so I smiled and touched his head and messed up his hair until I got tired.

"I won't go away, Caex, no matter what," I said to him, and I noticed that his red wings were slowly draining away, so I smiled, and the aura around him was also subsiding, which was black, and when it all went away, I noticed that the color of his eyes had changed.

"I won't let heaven take you. I promise that" he said, and I felt a slight pain in my heart. I heard him crying. I touch his face, and I was the one to kiss him.

When I kissed him, I felt his hand on my cheek as well, and he deepened the kiss even more, and I just closed my eyes because it was so delicious, and when we finished kissing, we stared at each other.

"I'm not going to let you go away, and our time as humans are coming to an end, isn't it?" I told Caex, and as I looked at his face, it was clear from his emotions that he was sad and didn't want to lose me.

"Are you sure you want what's going to happen to you?" He asked, and I nodded. At the same time, he touched my cheek and caressed it, and I also felt his cheek and smiled.

"Everything ends, Caex, because we can't control what the world wants to happen to us and what will happen," I told him, and he was surprised. I was surprised when he kissed me on the lips again and touched my face with his two hands, and I saw someone behind him, so I was surprised.

Who is the man who is staring at us and appears to want to kill us? Why do I seem to be scared? Why is this the case? That's why, as I was walking, I felt my body collide with Caex's.

"Oh? Are you all right? Are you in any discomfort?" He asked me right away, and when I looked behind, the man was gone, so I wanted to see what it was for, but I couldn't because he appeared to be blocking and hearing what I said.

"You can't kill me, my dear," he said, and I grabbed my clothes and became irritated because I couldn't figure out who he was and why he seemed to have plans with us. Is he the mastermind behind all of this? Is he the one who directed one of Caex's aides to murder us?

"Are you all right?" Caex asked me again, and I looked back at him, and it was clear from his expression that he was worried about me, so I just rested my head on his chest to calm myself down because I'm scared right now.

Kristoffer's PoV

As I watched the two of them face each other, I immediately turned away when Scarlet noticed I was looking at her, and she looked shocked; I just assumed she remembered me? Does she recall the man who once plotted to kill her?

Is it possible she didn't recognize me? I'm the one who killed her, the one who shot her, but that guy can't do anything because I control his power with my power as well. So I'll go ahead and say it, I'm an immortal as well, and I'm more powerful than that guy beside her.

"Forgive us, dear king, if we didn't kill the woman you wanted to die right away, someone was watching over her every time," the woman next to me said. The whole thought maybe that man would die like that, only my servants, but he was wrong because I gave them powers that they would never die, and as long as they lived, they would be submissive to the king in front of them.

"It's okay. I can handle it because I discovered that guy is weak," I said with a smile, and we finally left that place to return to the real world of immortals, where all the monsters reside.

"Yes, king," they said, and he quickly left in front of me, and I sat on my throne, and when I looked in front of her, I saw Scarlet's photo painted so beautifully, I never thought this girl would be so much more beautiful than I thought!

Excellent. I will still kill Scarlet, and no matter what happens, I will also kill that guy who is always by her side and protecting her; what a fool didn't he know that an immortal cannot serve a mortal? That's funny, but it's true because it's in the immortals' laws to ignore and protect mortals like Scarlet.

What can I do if the mortal and immortal love each other? I shook my head. My mission is to assassinate that woman, and I've been waiting for this moment for a long time! Flashback

"Kristoff! Come play with me and Xyno!" I turned around because I heard Kalyne's voice, and when I thought she was smiling with her Xyno, she was still next to it, holding her hand, and I felt sad.

"Kristoff, please forgive me, but I love Xyno, and you can't change it." After she told me, she immediately turned her back on me, and I saw that she was leaving, so I stopped the time and quickly went to her and kissed her, and when I broke away from her, that's when I vanished.

"You may now kiss the bride," I couldn't hear everything anymore, so I left their kingdom where they were married. I ran fast until I got away, and I never came back, but someone pushed me to come back because the person I loved had twins, and I immediately felt that one of his children would die and never live, but he had one child who would also die but live again and again, and that was Scarlet.
