I stretched my hand to feel Rebecca’s body, but instead, it fell on the empty fabric of an empty bed. I sniffed the air for her scent, but this time it had changed from the usual smell of Lily to something else, somewhat minty. The emptiness of the bed caused me to shudder, as my heart was suddenly attacked by a roar of panic. “Rebecca,” I called out, my voice was filled with longing and desire.
