Five minutes earlier of Shuna’s death “Do I really need to take the two with me?” Asked Jon to Ethan thru system call, who was fighting the big mass of filth in front of him, swaying its battle-ax. “This is the chance to gather information about this world, bring the two safely and protect them at all cost. And also remember what we talked about during our monthly meeting? Initiate that protocol.” Ethan ordered. Jon could only sigh and cut off the communication with no other choice but to follow their captain, Jon unleashed his sliver of power to erase the mass of filth in front of him using [Divine Ray of Punishment ] ______ Five minutes later. Shuna falls to the grounds, a plethora of black blood gushes out from her gaping chest. Jon looked at the two frightened princesses, it seems that they’re wary and cautious about him. He gave a soft smile and used the [ Sleep Scroll ], it is a scroll that can be bought at a cash shop system. The figure of the two princesses is dirty, their dress that looks like a uniform was stained with blood and dirt. Their dignified beauty can be seen at their ethereal stained face, clean it and it will become more beautiful. She carried the two and teleported back to the Estate using [Return Spell]. A return spell is something exclusive to the players, its purpose is to teleport the players to the last town they visited or their house that has a [ Returners Tomb ]. With that, Jon arrived at the Estate instantly. ----- Eight hours later… In one of the Guest Rooms in the Estate, there were four persons present in the room. They are Jon, Jericho, Christine, and Fiona. The sunlight rushed into the room the moment the curtain was raised, shining the interior brightly. Jericho and John squinted and reactively covered their eyes with the back of their arms. Though it was only for a moment, they returned their sight to the doctor Shugo who is performing some sort of medical test. The two battle gods observed the Shugo doctors and Shugo nurse as they checked up the two princesses. “Are they okay?” Jon walked closely to the Shugo who was conducting some medical tests. “There were no injuries found at my examination, I believe that they'll wake up once the sleep scroll effect is gone; which is about thirty minutes.” The doctor, Shugo replied professionally. “It’s a miracle that they don’t have any injuries, I arrived at the scene seeing them cornered by three filthy dogs,” Jon muttered to himself, recalling the past where he first saw them. “Then we will take our leave now master. If any complications happen to them, please don’t hesitate to page me.” The Shugo said to Jon who was looking at the resting princesses. The Shugo left the room, leaving only Jericho and Jon behind. Jon heaved a sigh of relief, thankful that nothing happened to the two, however, he glanced to his right and saw Jericho intensely looking at the resting princess. His countenance gave him displeasure. “Oi, you said that you will practice this morning right?” Jon implied. “Yeah, but I got curious about the girls that you brought…” Jericho smirked and glanced at the displeased Jon. “Don’t tell me that the reason for your leaving yesterday is to hook up with these girls don’t you?” “HAAA?!” Jon opened his mouth dumbfoundedly, his faces contorted in irritation at the superfluous words of Jericho. “It was a joke bro! Come on I sensed also the disgusting presence coming from the forest. So I was wondering, how strong were the monsters you dealt yesterday?” Jon sighed and explained the events that happened yesterday at the curious Jericho, fluidly explaining as Jericho nodding his head as the words got into his ears. “I see, so their power is strong but they can’t deal damage to you? Then the monsters yesterday were weak?” Jericho inquired, rubbing his head as he got interested in the impossible such thing is. “They are not even worthy of my main weapons, I’ve only used my divine treasury and killed them on the spot. I can’t believe that they are weak from the start that I ended up killing them quickly hahaha.” He laughed softly, covering his mouth as he tried not to disturb the sleeping princesses. “Anyone from is enough to deal with those dogs.” “Here you go again with your haughty attitude towards mobs. Well, I’m going to leave now, inform me of their name later, and introduce me as well.” Jericho said as he left the Guest room, probably heading towards the practice field where the others were. The only Battle Gods present in this Estate are him. He took a seat and promptly opened the menu and changed his appearance to casual. The golden armor that he was sheathed on turned into a white v-neck donned with three-quarter sleeves, and python print pants. Giving him an impression of a biker. Thirty minutes later. Christine slowly opened her eyes, she saw something that is not familiar to her. The ceiling was not her from her room but from another’s. She glanced at the right and squinted her eyes due to the bright sunlight coming inside from the window and saw a window not familiar to her. Confused at the sudden turn of events, she tried to recall everything earlier. Yesterday, the sword saint told her that she needed to evacuate due to the impending invasion of the monsters. They left after their class and took an eight hours travel, half-way from their destination, the sword saint immediately poised a hostile action towards her and summoned someone from the demon realm: The Demon Generals. Betrayed by someone close to her, she has no choice but to defend herself and her little sister. Facing a monstrous enemy, only death awaits them. Then a sword saint proposed something unimaginably: To let him have his way on her body to save her little sister. On which she accepted, the moment his hands were about to touch her breast, a streak of lightning dragged him along and was pierced by a plethora of spears and swords. Then she saw a man that is shining brightly in gold and defeated the two Demon Generals easily. “Good morning.” Spacing out from her rail of thoughts, a gentle voice sounded in the room, it seems that it was directed at her. She glanced at the person who called, she doesn’t have any clue on who it is but it was so gentle and angelic. Sitting on a chair was a man in unusual clothing. But what struck her is his golden hair and his fiery crimson eyes. An impulse was created in her mind, this man is strikingly similar to the Golden Knight. Though the man who saved them is clad in golden armor and hair standing up like a blazing far. This man’s hair is so simple yet elegant, handsome yet gives off a valiant aura. A face of a knight. Still confused, she nodded at the formal greeting and looked around. Everything here looks so exquisite and tidy. A room that she has never seen before that can be on par with her quarters in the royal castle. “Uhm...Where am I?” She doesn’t know where to start as she was confused about where she was. She could only ask simply. “To be honest, we don’t know as well but we are trying to find out where we are.” The man replied softly, there are no traces of lying behavior in his angelic face. Convinced by his words, she tried to stand up and felt something on her left hand. She inadvertently groped her little sister's budding bosom. “Fiona?” It was really Fiona, the moment she looked at her, there was no mistaking it. “Uhm...miss, I know this is sudden but may I ask your identity?” The man that was staring at them since she woke up inquired. “Uhm...I’m...Christine von Bethia. The Second Princess of the Kingdom of Bethia.” She introduced it respectfully, it was really out of character for her. When did she introduce herself so respectfully? She is cold towards male students and only thinks of Ernest as an ideal man. The man that she only acknowledges as a man...However, remembering that her ideal man betrayed her, she can only feel grief. It was a needle that pierces her heart in every direction. Why? Why? Why would he do that? Jon started to notice the tears welling from her purple eyes that concern her. No way, is he doing the introduction so badly? Why the hell would she tear up from something simple like ‘asking her name?’ Troubled, Jon stood up: “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t ask you something straight. I’ll leave now so please take your—” “....Mmmnnn….” She shook her head softly as she wiped her tears with the back of her hands, curling her body as she hugged the soft pillow. “I should be the one to apologize.” “So that’s how it is…” Jon sighed in relief and returned to his seat promptly, “So, you’re saying you’re a princess from another country. Is that girl also a princess?” Jon inquired. “Yes...how did you know?” Christine asked. “Your hair and your face, they look strikingly similar, is she perhaps your sister?” “Yeah...my sister’s name is Fiona von Bethia, she is the third princess of the Kingdom Bethia.” There is a princess huh? Well, they do look like one. To Jon's eyes, this was his first time to meet someone from this world and to add that they were princesses. They look so beautiful blooming like flowers. “It’s rude for me to ask someone’s name and not give mine. My name is—” Jon realizes something, how would he introduce himself? Should he give her his real name? His In-game name? Battle Gods? Then he remembered the protocol… “My name is Jon Marco Bautista, I’m the Vice-Captain of a guild called Surrender at 20.” Jon finished his introduction, letting out a forced smile, embarrassed at his hesitation. Christine looked at him closely as though her eyes were scrutinizing him. Why does he give off an impression of someone who saved them? And what is Surrender at 20? She hasn’t heard of such guild or order. “What’s the matter?” Jon tilted his head to the side, curiously. She is staring right at him as if she was staring at his soul. “Uhm...nothing, is just that you look at someone from yesterday...the knight that...saves us…” She said shyly, her face reddened. Concerned about if she was mistaken for his identity. It would leave a bad impression. “What do you mean? I’m the— So that’s how it is.” Jon realized and snapped his finger and instantly, a swirl of blue light coiled around his body, and the man she was talking to turned to someone she knew of. “Go...golden knight?!” She exclaimed, she can’t express what she’s feeling anymore as it surges forth within her body. The man that saved them from their death, is standing in front of them. “Golden Knight? That’s has a nice ring to it...however I don’t like wearing my battle armor in the house so I always change into my casual one.” He snapped his finger again returning to his casual outfit. The man that she was talking to was the man who saved them and yet she showed nothing like compassion, she even didn’t notice that he is the one, though she did but she’s unsure of it. Christina stood up and bowed in front of Gerald… “Please forgive my insolence…” She is not acting like a princess anymore, this moment she forgets her identity. But that doesn’t matter to her...he saved her life and her sister’s life. If she can bring a lot of rewards to thank him she would gladly give him a territory. And not to mention, this man calls himself ‘God’ “Eh?” What the heck is this girl doing? It’s embarrassing when someone is doing it. “Please...accept my deepest apology for my behavior...—Eh?” Someone touched her shoulder...she looked up and saw Jon in a crouched position. “Please stand up...that is not an action befitting of a princess. In fact, I should be the one to do so.” Jon softly said, his soft voice is truly gentle that will put someone at ease. “No...no...you don’t need to do it…” She stood as she waved her hands in refusal. Then she noticed that Jon was a tall man. “Sister?” A quiet voice called Christine from behind. It was her little sister: Fiona von Bethia. Fiona saw a handsome man near her sister. “Who...is...that...sister?” She asked timidly. “This man is the Golden Knight who saved us yesterday, his name is Jon Marco Bautista.” Christine introduced, Jon waved his hand at the adorable princess. “Go-go-golden knight? But...he...is...scary…” Fiona said so softly that Jon could perceive her nature. What a bashful princess do we have here. “Fiona...don’t be rude to the one who saved us…—” That hand was laid again on her shoulder, she glanced and saw Jon smiling, indicating that it was okay. “Okay, now you both are awake, you will have your breakfast and I know that you want to return to your hometown but we need to ask something first.” “Something?” Christine c****d her head to the side. “It’s just a simple question about this world...we will discuss it later, for now, make yourself at home.” Jon simply said and escorted the two to the dining hall.
