Who has ever existed

~Asher's POV~ Our eighteenth birthday seems to be filled with so many jinks. Everything strange appears to be happening around us. Evan couldn't be with us as his mate is still healing, Ann was behaving differently at the party, and Stella...for sure there is something wrong with her as well. She wasn't at her best today. Her eyes held something that I couldn't figure out and before I could ask anything, Ann's situation seemed to deteriorate. Ann's nails started to dig into my hand breaking the chain of earlier events swirling in my mind and I secured my hands around her shivering body. What's wrong with her? It isn't so cold and her having water energy doesn't let her feel cold easily. What is happening to her? I secured my arms around her quivering shoulders and let my heat give her some warmth. A trembling sigh left her mouth making me more worried about her. Nothing like this ever happened to her before. Her cold body, trembling hands, and watery eyes...damn...I don't even know how should I take care of my little sister. Even my powers aren't working on her. I took her to the water temple where she can find balance with her energy and a relieving sigh left my mouth, finally, she is looking better than before. I placed her head on my lap and stroked her hair to make her feel better while mom decided to take a toll on her missing kids, "Where the hell both of you are? It's your party, not ours." Her annoyed voice changed the moment she got to know about Ann and by now, I'm sure she and dad must be reaching here any moment. Though I told her we are heading back as she is fine now, but our queen listens to whom? Well...no one if she doesn't want to. "Here you guys are. Is she alright?" Aliyah asked while catching her breath. "She is. But what are you doing here? You know you shouldn't be in the forest at this moment. You are still a human." I don't know why all the females in our family are so stubborn. They never listen to us until one of our prophecies comes true. She rolled her eyes, "Yeah...a human who has werewolf and vampire blood running through her veins and can even protect herself." I shook my head not wanting to get into a never-ending discussion and started making my way back to the castle. "I can walk brother," Ann smiled looking at me. "It's ok. I can take my little monster back." After a minute of silence, Ann tapped her fingers on my chest, "Brother..." I looked down at her to know if she is feeling ill again but the glint her eyes held for some reason sent shivers down my spine. Her green eyes were shinier than before and the way she was moving her head between Aliyah and me was throwing me for a loop. "I can walk brother..." She whispered and this time she didn't give me any chance to respond as hoped from my arms and started walking ahead of us. Puzzled, we both started walking behind her, silently. Something is definitely wrong with her. Mom is the only one who can bring the truth out. "Why not you tell me about the last day of your school till we get back? I heard you gave Miranda a good lesson." Aliyah said snaking her arms with Ann but Ann chose to ignore her and then a growl left her mouth. She...is she...? "Aliyah, move away!" I shouted. Ann pushed Aliyah away because she couldn't understand Ann's threatening gestures, but I caught her before her head could hit the big rock. What the f**k is wrong with this girl? "Aneria!" I barked at her but my voice died down when she growled loudly and shifted into her wolf. Her wolf...moon goddess...how is this possible? I'm sure she had a white wolf! Same as our mother! How come her wolf color is changed now? From having a pure white wolf, she now has a different kind of wolf that never existed before. A blue wolf. Her fur is shining under the moonlight as the ice shines with the first rays of sunlight. The aura she is holding clearly tells what kind of energy is flowing inside her. Her icy blue fur is the reflector of the powers she is holding inside her. She is...beautiful. "She is beautiful..." Aliyah whispered. I nodded my head with a grin remembering how badly she wanted to be a lycan just because they are rare. But now...she is the one who is out of the ordinary. The only blue wolf who has ever existed. I stepped in her direction but she growled at both of us, sniffed the air, and ran away. What the heck? "Reva stop!" I tried to mindlink her back and forth but she didn't bother to acknowledge my voice. I helped Aliyah stand up from the ground who fell while running behind her and mind-linked Ian and Archer to take her back safely. I need to go to Ann now! "I'll wait for Ian and Archer; go after her. I promise I'll wait for them." Aliyah said looking in the direction where Ann took off. Sniffing more of her scent, I started running onto the same path where she is and soon found my parents running beside me. "How the hell you missed her!" Dad shouted. I tried not to flinch at his authoritative voice. There was no such command in his voice but he is the king and above that, our father. I love how he balances his life and role in each one of our lives and never till now, he has ever let us down. Sometimes I fear disappointing him as this is not even the last thing that I want to do in my existence ever. "She is going through a transformation. You know how difficult a transformation can be." I told them everything that has happened till now and saying they were taken aback would be a small word. They are baffled. Well...none of us saw this coming. We reached the spot from where her scent was the strongest but to our failure, she left this place before our arrival. How come she became faster than us? Especially mom. And why she is hiding from us? A painful howl reached our ears and our hearts started pounding loudly in our chests. "Ann..." Mom whispered and ran away while dad and I followed in her footsteps. We kept running and searching for her until Aunt Emily mind liked us saying that Ann reached home safely. We ran straight into her room where she was lying peacefully on her bed with grandpa beside her stroking her hair. Her hair was messy and all of her makeup was ruined. The tear stains on her face were upsetting me. It's her birthday. She was supposed to celebrate it as she always does but instead of that, she was running from us. I know how excited she gets about our every birthday but today except for feeling disordered and running away the whole night she couldn't do anything. "Let me check her." Mom went to her but dad stopped her from making any move, "She will talk to us in the morning. Let us have her restful sleep." Mom doesn't look convinced by his words but didn't say anything. Her 'not so convinced' face conveys that there is much more that we need to know. And she doesn't look happy about dad stopping her from using her powers on Ann. Wandering into her mind without her permission, Ann won't appreciate it. Neither will I. Dad did the right thing by stopping her from doing so. I hope that mom's doubts are nothing except her worry. "I wish the same..." Kai said. "Where were you till now? This is the first time you've said something." I'm surprised he didn't have his share of words till now. Kai couldn't sit still when it concerns Ann in any way but today my lycan was all out. "I somehow knew she was going through a transformation; her actions told. But the howl that we heard, it's kind of created conflict in my mind." And now his words and mom's actions were creating a tussle of thoughts in my head. It had better not be anything more than little birthday sadness.
