Mrs.Elizabeth was seated in her office going through some files before signing them when Leonardo entered taking a seat.
"I just heard Edmund's chocolate shop is about to open," Mrs.Elizabeth muttered.
"That's a brilliant idea, it serves as a good promotion for their brand plus they will now be able to attract a small market taster now, Henry has such an amazing mindset for business," Leonardo replied.
"No Leonardo, it wasn't Henry's idea, it was Alyana his daughter who came up with it," Mrs.Elizabeth explained.
"Then if so, I wish we had someone like Alyana in our company, maybe we would have been more successful by now." Leonardo let out.
"I still don't get Kyle, she is to focus on being a good lawyer rather than joining the company," Mrs.Elizabeth let out.
"I am still keeping my hopes up, grandma, I believe the time will come when Kyle will quit her practice as a lawyer and join our business," Leonardo replied with a lace of assurance.
Kyle stood beside the swimming pool in tears, she couldn't stop thinking of how Mateo almost lost his life because of her. Was her job more important than her son's life? She thought. Her thought was cut short when Leonardo came in.
"Mateo is asleep, I haven't even read half of the story and he was already out. It must be because he was out playing with you the whole day," Leonardo explained but got no reply from Kyle.
"Kyle, this silence is killing me, talk to me," Leonardo said, moving closer to Kyle.
"Mateo was almost run over by a car and it is all my fault, I am sorry," Kyle let out turning around to face Leonardo with tears streaming down her face.
Leonardo stepped toward Kyle wiping the tears off her face" Kyle just stop thinking about it, he is safe now and that is all that matters, it's not your fault stop blaming yourself."
"Grandma was right when she said I was obsessing over my job and that I tend to forget my family, I am ready now Leonardo. I am ready to quit practicing law," Kyle replied.
"Are you sure Kyle?" Leonardo asked.
"Yes, I am, I want to be a good mother to Mateo and a good wife to you, again that's if you will allow me," Kyle said as she held Leonardo's face.
Leonardo turned to look at Kyle before replying" I want you back Kyle. "
Kyle looked into his eyes before kissing him, she quickly pulled away when he didn't return the kiss.
Kyle apologized and was about to walk away when Leonardo dragged her slamming his lips against hers. The kiss was slow and soft making them both yearn for more, Leonardo couldn't hold it in anymore soon the kiss became demanding, making Kyle moan.
