Austin POV

I knew my mate was here somewhere, I could smell her intoxicatingly delicious scent. She smelt like warm apple pie with a hint of lavender. I wasn't sure if me and Aiden would have the same mate or different as it's always different with twins. Some do, and some don't.

I wouldn't ever mind sharing with my brother as I know that has always been a possibility.

We weres are very protective over our mates and especially Alpha wolves, we don't like others touching what is ours and that goes for male and she-wolves alike.

Looking at him now, I could tell he had also scented his mate, so the likelihood of us having the same mate was very, very high.

"You smell her too?," I asked with a smile. He nodded yes, smiling.

I'd always wanted my mate, wanted to meet her and make her mine, I thought it might have been a she-wolf in our pack but as my birthday grew near I wasn't drawn to anyone so when I turned 18 it wasn't a shock that I hadn't found her.

Don't get me wrong, I've slept with a few she-wolves from my pack, but it has always been short flings, and I made sure they knew it would never be anything serious.

My mate definitely wasn't there, and how things had been with the wars and the Rogue attacks there would be no travelling to different packs to find her either. Our parents have been overprotective.

When the other leading packs started wars because their pups had been killed, my parents closed us off. We still helped the other packs when they needed it, but it was hard, especially when it was originally done by all 4 packs.

When we got closer to the door, her scent was getting heavier, I could hear dad and Lou talking, but I couldn't focus on them at all. The only thing I can concentrate on is getting into that room, but what I see in there was not what I was expecting... my mate in the arms of someone else. They were staring out the window, so I'm not sure what she looks like, but her beautiful silky black hair reaches her hips. My blood was boiling, and Xav was just as pissed 'MINE' he growled, our anger was blinding, and I wanted to rip his arms off, touching what's mine. We are growling, and I feel someone grab me stopping me from getting to them. I see her stiffen and when he turns first I realise he's young and my anger started to fade looking at Aiden he was being stopped by another Alpha, and he also looked like he realised the same and we are now not fighting to get to him.

As I look back, her beautiful big blue eyes are staring at us, I could look into those eyes for the rest of my life and be a happy wolf.

"Mate," both of us said, looking at our breathtaking mate.

She looks happy but worried, then her eyes glaze, and I know she is talking to her wolf. "Mates," she said, giving me a jolt of electricity up my spine. She accepts us.

She came to us as we were still blocked by my dad and the other Alpha, probably scared that we would still attack. As soon as I got my hands on her, I didn't want to ever let go. I feel her arm go around my neck, and it feels like heaven. Sparks everywhere. I can smell her arousal, and we growl in appreciation of the sweet succulent scent of our mate, happy that we can make her feel this way.

A cough tries to pull us away, but I don't want to move. This is the most content and happy I've ever felt. I know I must move after another inhale of her. I lift my head and smile when I'm met with her eyes, I want to kiss her so badly, but I settle on kissing her cheek.

There is no way I want to take my hands off her all together, so I leave my hand resting on her hip. I keep my eyes on her while she looks around everyone in the room until her eyes meet ours. "Hi, I'm Alora." it was like music to my ears. "Hey gorgeous, my name is Aiden," he said, but my attention was on our mate. "Hi mate, I'm Austin," I say as she smiles so much as us.

"Ok, come on," one of the Alpha says, and it pisses me off. What is his problem. "Austin, Aiden this is my family, this is my dad Alpha Vince" ok that explains it, if I'd had looked at him earlier I would have guessed they were related "uncle Darian, my sisters Kylie and Poppy and my brother Liam and these are their dads, Alpha Peter and Alpha Nathan" she smiles around the room while pointing at them all. All came forward to meet us but how can she have siblings to other Alphas and they don't even resemble each other "please keep her safe and happy" the young lad from earlier said and it makes me feel even better to learn they are siblings."We will," Aiden smiled. "It's nice to meet you, sir," I said, but her dad was silent, looking at his daughter.

"I've only just got Alora back, and it hurts to let go again, but I know how the mate bond is, BUT that being said... you hurt her in anyway I'll hunt you down and destroy you" he said now looking in our eyes "of course" Aiden answered because we have no intention of ever hurting her "vince looks like the moon goddess has paired our pups" dad said smiling. Mum is going to freak that we have found our mate.

We all sit around the table, but I'm so lost in my mate. I'm listening, but it's like it's in the background.

"So that must mean they had to have been watching the packs routine" Alpha Vince said drawing my attention back to the table "and also watching Kylie, she must have been the target" Aiden answered and that must be it because rogues never take interest in packs like that.

I feel Alora tense up and as I look at her she has her eyes shut, tears rolling down her face and then in a blink she is growling out in anger and her claws started ripping through her fingers. She is really pissed and I'd hate to be on her bad side. As much as she is turning me on, I know I have to try and calm her down.

"Mate, you need to take a deep breath. You're starting to shift," I heard Aiden say softly to her before he picked up her hand in his as I did the same. It is working but there was still some anger there "I'm fine Veda, I promise" Kylie reassured her, Veda must be her wolf and it brings me great joy to have a strong mate by my side.

"How are you feeling, honey?" Alpha Vince asks. "I'm fine, I'm sorry, I'm still getting used to the more intense emotions. me and Veda would never let anyone hurt you, Kylie, " and smiled."I know you would protect me just as I would you." Kylie replied, causing my mate to smile and nod in agreement.

"Why would they target Kylie tho?" Liam asks, and even though he is young, he is going to make a good Alpha, just with the way he thinks.

"Well I don't think it is just Kylie they will be targeting" Alpha Peter said looking at everyone around the table "so who else would they target and why Kylie" Alora asks looking confused "I think that whoever was behind kidnapping you all, is still trying to cause a war so I think all 4 of you will be targeted" Alpha replied but I'm beyond angry that anyone would try to hurt my mate but they will die for even thinking it.

Aiden POV

Wow, my mate is amazing. Not only is she gorgeous, but she is fiercely protective with her family. She will make a great Luna, and I can't wait to get to know her better. 'Mate is beautiful, make her ours now.. someone is out to get her we can protect her more if we mark her and Xav agrees' Kyn my wolf said 'I can't just mark her Kyn we need to give her time, you horny wolf' 'like you don't want the same thing' he replied sarcastically and went to the back of my mind sulking that I won't mark her just yet.

I tune back into the meeting because I'm starting to get hard just thinking of her, and Kyn is not helping at all.

I know I need to focus because someone out there is targeting her, and there is no way we would let that happen. We will protect her always.

We have been here hours talking and getting nowhere.

Someone might be targeting Alora and the others, and no one knows who or why, and I'm becoming irritated. How can someone hide their tracks so well?.

We are sitting around the table trying to come up with the answers but no one really knows anything.'We are focusing too much on who and why and still nothing. We need to figure out who could have taken them and work our way back to the person orchestrating everything' kyn said, which makes sense. We are all focused on the wrong who.

"So if we don't know who has been lurking in the dark all these years trying to get us to destroy ourselves, we need to find out who entered the packs, Kyn said that if we figure it out we can work our way back" "Kyn" I hear my mate say so quietly that I almost missed it but hearing her say his name has got Kyn yipping like a pup and howling with joy.

"I'm thinking that has to be worth a shot, we're not getting any where so far" dad said he always believes in us but he also calls us out if we are wrong or just being d***s. We are taking over the Alpha position soon, and now we have our Luna it will be how it's supposed to be leading our pack together.

We can't wait as it is what we have trained for all our lives. Dad is a great leader and has brought us up to be great Alphas. I hope we don't disappoint him and make our parents proud.

"Ok so does anyone remember someone that maybe was visiting" dad asked as the other Alphas were thinking "the only visitor that was new in our pack was a young she-wolf, she was a teenager so I couldn't imagine it be her plus she was still there after, surely she would have fled. When Alora was taken, I investigated hoping to find a clue, and we had no other visitors and definitely no clues, " Beta Darian said, but that in itself could be the clue.
