I kept on avoiding Elias's captivating gaze while engaging with my pack members. I don't know what to do at this moment. Deep inside of my heart I was excited to meet my mate today, my real destined mate, only to find out that my mate is none other than Declan's best friend Alpha Elias Cambridge. The strongest and most respected alpha alive in the history.

"Ara, everything alright? You look shaken up." Nina asked, coming beside me with the drink in her hand "You are not even drinking. Cheer up, celebrate, dear friend. You have been selected as the Luna. Who knew once the omega will turn into a Luna?"

"Yeah, who knew." I mumbled in my breath, avoiding Elias and turned my attention to Nina "So, where did you disappear just now? I was looking for you."

"Oh, you know since I am the event planner of this pack house, so I have to look after everything. Something came up in the kitchen that I needed to look after." I can see right through her now. She is lying.

"Strange, because just at the same time Declan disappeared." I spoke in a low voice, looking at Declan who just appeared out of his wing and winked at me, before joining the group of Alphas that were invited at the party today.

"Wha...What do you mean by that, Ara?" she asked, nervously with a forced smile "Dec...I mean Alpha wasn't with you?"

"No," I replied in a flat tone "I feel hurt, Nina. Don't you think that Declan should be spending his time with me after finding out that I am his mate? And, here he left me with all the members who are looking at me with anger and disrespect in their eyes. They are not accepting me, as their Luna. Can't you see that? They are just being nice to me, because they fear Declan. Trust me, I heard them talk about me, and it wasn't good. They think that I am not capable of being their Luna and the mate to their Alpha, since I am an omega."

"Were." she spoke, taking sip of her drink "You were the omega, but now you are nothing less than our Alpha. Just tell who do you want dead and Declan will kill them in a heart beat for you."

"Even if it is you?" I asked, with a cunning smile, and burst out laughing when I saw Nina's pale expression.

"What the f**k are you saying, Ara? I think you have too many drinks." she said pointing at the empty glass of drink in my hand, the drink that I spilled in the leaves secretly. I can't drink or eat anything over here, unless I made it myself.

"Relax, Nina. You look terrified after hearing me say that." I tell her, but didn't tell her that she doesn't need to be worried about anything, because she will die by my hands, not today, but very soon "And, what the f**k are you saying? Since when does werewolf begin to get drunk?"

"True, I was just messing around." she said nervously "Excuse me, I need to go and check on something." she left in a hurry, and I chuckled but it vanished when I saw Elias wink and shake his head at me with a smirk on his face while I rolled my eyes and groaned when my heart skipped a beat and my wolf hummed in my mind.

"Our mate is really handsome, human. He looks so yummy." I heard Alaya speak and I laughed.

"Oh, that he is, but he is our enemy's best friend, and a loyal one, so don't get your hopes high. This mate thing is not made for us. Just focus on our mission, Alaya." I reminded my wolf "Oh, and I agree with you. He is indeed yummy. If he wasn't Declan's friend, and I had time, then I would have been taking the opportunity and mating with him."

"I know," she replies and shut me out because she was upset, hurt and angry like me too.

"Hey, baby. Why don't you come and join me over there with my friends?" Declan approached me, and kissed the back of my hand. I practically gagged and felt disgusted by his touch, but what I saw, made me forget about everything. I swear I found Elias gritting his teeth and clenching his fist in anger, but he instantly masked it.

"Alpha...I mean Declan, thank you for the kind offer, but I don't think I fit in over there with your friends. They all are from elite group and powerful Alpha, while I am just an omega." I played with him. I just want to get out of here by any means to check out a few things "And, besides I don't feel well. Can I go and rest in my room if you don't mind?"

"Oh! What happened? Are you alright? Do you want the pack doctor to check up on you?" Declan asked, showing flase concern, like his fake position as the Alpha "You are making me worried over here, my mate. And, stop referring yourself as the omega. You are my mate now, so it automatically makes you a Luna."

"Your pack members doesn't think like that. No one is talking to me, all they are talking about me, not being fit as your mate, that you deserve better and so many other worse things. Please, Declan. Reject me, if you think the same. I will understand. You hold the title of the Alpha, while I am a nobody, just an orphan omega who doesn't know about her parents." Declan instantly panicked when I used the word reject and I mentally smirked. He is scared. He is scared that if I reject him or get out of his grip, he won't be able to get what he wants.

"Attention everyone, especially the members of my pack. I, Alpha Declan, order everyone to look at my mate with nothing but respect. If you can't do that, then you can challenge me and watch yourself getting torn apart. She is your Luna, so respect her like one or die." Declan threatened everyone then looked at me "Baby,your position and status doesn't mean anything to me, you do, and I am glad to call you my mate."

"Really?" I asked, placing my hand on his chest "Do you mean that?"

"Of course, my love. I mean every single word. I love you, I always have since you were just a little child. I guess our souls connected." I wanted to roll my eyes and spit on his face, instead I leaned forward and kissed his cheek, but the bastard had some other plans because instead of my cheek, he kissed me on the lips in front of everyone and this time Elias looked furious and left after gulping his drink.

"Now, you go and rest. I will come later to check on you. Okay?" he asked and I nod.

"Alright," I nodded my head "I don't know why I feel dizzy all of a sudden. I am just going to go and get an early nap, if you don't mind, can we meet in morning?"

"Sure, your health comes first. Just take care of yourself." he said, placed a kiss on my cheek and left. I turned around and headed back to the pack house. My original plan was to search Declan's wing which was currently left in dark with no lights on, but as I was about to take step inside, someone placed a hand over mine, and tried to manhandle me, but before the person can do that, I grabbed the person by the back of his neck, and flipped him over my shoulder, causing the person to fall on the floor and groan. I turned on the lights instantly to find the attacker, only to find out my attacker was none other than my mate.

"Alpha Elias! What are you doing over here? And, what the hell were you trying to do with me?" I demand, looking into his captivating and addicting eyes.

"What am I doing over here? Seriously? I could ask the same question from you. What the hell are you trying to do? Why are you fooling around with Declan when you are my mate?!" he demands with gritted teeth, pure anger evident in his eyes "I want answers, Bella. And, I want them now or I am going to go and tell Declan the truth."

"Oh, and what truth are you talking about, Alpha?" I asked, acting to be strong and confident.

"That you are not his mate but mine!" he growls "Guess what is going to happen after that?"
