Arabella Thornhill:-

"Who do you think you are and why do you keep calling yourself my mate when I don't feel anything about you, Alpha." I snapped, breathing heavily "Please leave before I tell Declan that you tried to force yourself on me."

"Oh, please do. I want to see you try, my little mate." Elias challenged with his eyes fixed on mine, like he was trying to read me and if he keeps on looking at me like that, I might get weak with the mate bond I was feeling inside of me. I can't let my feelings take over me because nothing good ever comes out of it. Didn't I learn my lesson from my previous life and beside I have not returned to life to fall in love and mate. I am here to take my revenge which is why I can't let anyone distract me.

"You might be Declan's best friend, but don't think that he will spare you because of that. I am his mate and for me, he is willing to do anything for me." I lied, mentally gagging with the thought.

"Oh, really?" Elias lips twitched as he took step close to me, and wrapped his arms around my waist to pull me close to his muscular and warm body as he placed his hand on my cheek and caressed it "Then why do I feel like that you are with Declan for a motive? Why do I see hatred in your eyes for Declan instead of love if he is your mate?"

"You are talking bullshit. Just get out of here, Alpha, before I kick your disrepectful ass." I said with gritted teeth, trying to control myself and my body which was trynig to betray me. His fresh muscular scent, and his heartbeat was making me vulnerable, forcing me to give into him and kiss the man. As I was about to pull away from him, he pressed his lips on mine for a kiss, catching me offguard with his sudden actions, making my eyes wide.

My entire body seemed to follow the primal instincts in me and, while my mind was telling me not to go along with it I felt myself relax into the kiss. His kiss was raw, commanding, and passionate, a kiss that sizzles and leaves one breathless. Again, I tried to bring my hands up to his chest and finally managed to push him away with all the force that I have.

Finally, I managed to free myself and shouted, “Stop it!” I used my hand to rub my lips, and attempted to wash away the feeling of his kiss when that was the last thing I wanted to do. I wanted to feel his lips on mine again, but I held myself back and tried to stop the tears that were building in my eyes and ready to come out anytime “You have no right to touch me like that. ”

To which Elias grinned, his voice cold and eyes flashing dangerously. "You can try to run away from it as much as you like, Arabella, but you and I have a connection and you will accept it if not today then tomorrow"

"That is never going to happen so you can keep on dreaming. Now, get your arrogant ass out of here. You might be the strongest Alpha alive and powerful than anyone,but trust me I can take you down. You really don't want to mess with me at all. I aint' scared of you or any men." I threatened and he burst out laughing before kissing my cheek and turned around to leave. As he was walking away, he looked at me over his shoulder and spoke.

"Until next time, my little spitfire." he said and left. As soon as he was out of the way, I looked around to make sure no one witnessed that. Once I was sure no one was present, I went running to my room, locked the door behind and fell down on my knees as I finally let myself broke down into tears.

"Why? Why does it have to me? What did I do to deserve this?" I cried looking at the ceiling "I thought that in this life I will find my mate who will really be worthy of me, but again I am proven wrong." I laid on the floor and let the tears flow down, until I wiped them, gained back the strength and courage.

"No, I can't let Elias make me weak. He is same like every other men. He can't be trusted because he is Declan's friend. I have to stay focus on revenge and finish it before my time is up." I talked to myself after getting up and looking at myself in the mirror. My eyes looked like racoon with all the mascara smudged on my face when I saw the reflection of my silver wolf in the mirror.

"Alaya," I spoke and she howled.

"Wipe your tears, Arabella. I am here for you and together we are going to make everyone pay for what they did to us. Together we are going to restore the peace." she said and went silent for a moment " Arabella, did you for even a single second thought that you might be wrong about our mate? Maybe Elias is really not like Declan or he would have told him about us being his mate when he had the chance?"

"No, I am thinking right. Which is why we need to avoid any contact with Elias and stay away from him. Men like Elias are dangerous than Declan. They like to play with their prey before finishing it." I said when I heard a strong howling voice coming from nearby and felt a presence outside of my room.

"Are you sure that our plan is working, Declan? I am telling you, there is something different about Arabella. You just can't see it." I heard Nina's voice and took step close to my door "You need to be cautious, Declan."
