Cheyenne’s P.O.V
I woke up with my laptop beside me in sleep mode and I don’t even remember falling asleep. I remember watching a big group of people walk in through the doors of the restaurant and I was hoping that they would be seated right away because I don’t like people waiting to be seated, which was yet another reason why I wanted the dock built asap. I saw Yara train her cousins and she was doing an awesome job, especially when she put them in small sections to start off in so that they wouldn’t be overwhelmed. After that I don’t remember much more and now I am waking up, so I switched my laptop off and put it on charge as the battery was nearly dead. I got out of bed not feeling dizzy or sick, which was a great sign, so I got out of bed and went to the bathroom. I took a long shower, wanting to get the sweat off me and then I dried off and got dressed in jeans and a pink shirt that said Gator Tail on it. I brushed my long dark hair and put it up into a ponytail, then put a little make-up on and I was done. I found my shoes underneath the bed and put them on before grabbing my purse, bag and keys, then I left home and drove to work. I felt so well rested after sleeping the whole day, so I guess that I really must have needed it. When I got to work everyone was running around, trying to get everything done and ready for the day ahead, but when they saw me walk inside the building they all welcomed me back, happy to see me better. I met with Jack and Vale, but I couldn’t help noticing that their eyes looked really weird, one had silver eyes and the other had hazel, but they both had a kinda glow to them. I don’t know, maybe I was just seeing things. I shook my head, looking away from them and at the seating chart to see that everyone had their section, then I looked out at where the dock was being built and to my surprise it was almost done.
“Wow, it looks really good, just like how I imagined it would.” I whispered to myself, looking everything over. I would have to string some lights and order some new tables. I went into my office and turned on my computer, ordering everything that I would need. I ordered new tables, tablecloths and chairs, which in total wasn’t cheap, but I needed to get it all finished and ready. It was only a one day delivery, so they should be here tomorrow, which meant that I would have to get up early to be here for their arrival. I looked at the time and saw that the restaurant should now be open, so I left my office and when I walked onto the main floor I saw that customers were already coming inside. I know I watched them yesterday, but I returned to the office to watch the cameras, wanting to see what they would do when I’m not on the restaurant floor, but still in the building.

It was getting late and Victor had just got here, but we were still waiting for Courtney to come downstairs and we were both hungry.
“Courtney, if you don’t get your ass down here in two seconds then we are leaving without you.” I said, mind-linking her. We waited for another five minutes and then she came running down the stairs. Victor, who was standing next to me, couldn’t take his eyes off my sister and he was looking at her like he wanted to eat her up. I had to elbow him in the ribs to get his eyes off my sister, but at the same time my sister was trying to avoid looking at him and I had no idea why. My sister was wearing ripped blue jeans that had small tears in them and a nice purple pullover shirt that was baggy, but not too baggy. Her hair was pulled over her shoulder with clips holding it to one side and her make-up looked perfect, not too much that she looked like a clown or that she had put it on with a trowel.
“Alright, let's get out of here, I’m starving and I’m wanting to eat some gator tail and shrimp.” I said, turning around and walking out of the pack house.

I was trying not to look at Victor, but when Ace turned around Victor touched my hand with the tip of his fingers and I felt the sparks between us run through my hand and up my arm. He was my mate, but how the hell were we going to tell Ace? Thirty minutes after leaving the pack house we made it to the Gator Tail restaurant and when we walked through the doors we were hit with light mood lighting and lots of people sitting and eating. We were amazed with how beautiful the place was, not only on the outside, but on the inside too. One of the waiters came and the name tag he was wearing told us that he was called Cameron.
“Hey guys, welcome to the Gator Tail restaurant, are you wanting to be seated upstairs, downstairs, on the balcony or on the porch?” Cameron asked and we all looked at each other, thinking.
“How about downstairs, that way we can enjoy the smells coming from the kitchen.” I replied and Cameron nodded. He led us to our table, which was four tables away from an office and the door to the kitchen.
“What the hell is that smell and where is it coming from? It smells like roses and vanilla.” Ace asked, sniffing the air.
“It could be coming from the kitchen, who knows.” I replied, but Ace shrugged.
“I don’t know, but it sure smells very intoxicating.” Ace said, aas we all took our seats and ordered our drinks and food. We talked, catching up on the past two years that we hadn’t seen each other and after thirty minutes our food was served.
“Wow, that was quick.” I said and our waiter, Cameron, smiled and nodded.
“Yeah, we have eight cooks in the kitchen today, it's the reason why the food comes out so quickly.” Cameron explained and then left. We began to eat, but the whole time I watched as Ace kept sniffing the air, trying to smell that scent and I knew exactly what was happening because I was doing the same thing when Victor first arrived. Ace just sat there, sniffing and eating his food, not bothering to get up and go look for his mate and by then I’d had enough.
“Ace, get up and go find her. You and I both know that your mate is here, isn’t she?” I said and he nodded yes.
“Then get your ass up and find her or she might walk out of here, not knowing that you are mates. Now go, I can keep Victor company.” I said and he rolled his eyes at me.
“Give me a break, I know that you two are mates and just want to be alone, now shut up.” Ace said, making Victor and I laugh as he got up.

I was following the scent and it was leading me to what looked like the door to an office, but before I could knock or go inside Yara stepped in front of me and stopped me.
“Wait, you can’t. I’m sorry, Alpha, but you can’t. She doesn’t know about us, she’s human and is the one that owns the restaurant. Please don’t scare her, she has no idea about our world or anything to do with it.” Yara said, pleading with me and I just nodded.
“Alright, but please just tell her that someone at a table wants to meet her, I’ll be waiting.” I replied and she nodded, watching me as I went back to the table and sat down.
“Well, what happened? How did it go?” Courtney asked, but I shook my head and sighed.
“She’s human and she’s the one that owns this place. How is a human my mate?” I asked and Courtney smirked at me.
“Suck it up, the Moon Goddess gave her to you for a reason.” Courtney replied and I knew that she was right, but how the hell was I going to do this?
Cheyenne’s P.O.V
I was sitting in my office, talking on the phone about getting string lights for the dock because I had completely forgotten to order them earlier when I ordered everything else earlier. The only thing I would need to do is go collect them tomorrow morning, so I would need to get up really early to get those and then be here for the delivery of the tables and other items to show them where to place them. I sighed as I sat back in my chair, knowing that I would need to get up and walk around the restaurant to greet the guests. I got up from my chair and just walked around my desk when there was a knock on my door and Yara walked in.
“Hey Cheyenne, some of the guests want to meet with you at their table, they’re wanting to meet with the owner.” Yara said and I nodded.
“Alright, I was about to head out there anyway, so could you show me which table it is? I hope they don’t have any complaints about the food or service, it would be a first if they did and I don’t want to let anyone down.” I said, but Yara shook her head.
“You won’t be and I don’t think they want to complain.” Yara said and I nodded. We walked out of my office and I followed Yara to the table where two gentlemen and a lady were sitting. I could immediately tell that the woman and one of the gentlemen were a couple with how they looked at each other. He had short brown hair and brown hazel eyes, plus he looked like he worked out. He was wearing jeans and a button up tan shirt, looking to be about thirty. I looked away from him and at the other guy, who as soon as I looked at him I couldn’t take my eyes off him. He had shoulder length dark hair, green eyes and had a little meat on his bones, which is what I liked. He also looked like he worked out just looking at the size of his arms and he was also wearing jeans and a button up yellow shirt that looked really good on him. It wasn’t a bright yellow or even a canary yellow, instead it was a light faded yellow. His sleeves were rolled up and I saw that he had a tattoo on his arm, going under his sleeve and it made me wonder how far up his body it travelled. I quickly tore my eyes away from him, knowing that if I carried on looking I would start getting thoughts. Yeah, I had a dirty mind, but damn he was hot and I thought I could see a little bit of the tattoo on his neck. I had to look away before he saw me staring at him, but I couldn’t stop my heart from racing and it felt like it was going to beat right out of my chest. What the hell was happening to me?
Hey guys, please let me know what you think so far.
