Some time after I carried Savina to bed I hear her screaming. I run to her room from my office, Casper on my heels. 

I throw open her door and see her small body in the middle of the bed, covered in sweat. She is still asleep though. I swear I heard her screaming. I step closer and see her neck, bite marks from a Succubus. Since my Father's visit,  I have a protection around the house so who could have done this to her? I look to Casper and he jumps up on the bed, inspecting her neck as well.

“This was not done here.. The energy in the room is off.. Someone has been here” He whispers 

He begins to lick her neck, sealing her wound. 

“Who? Who could have gotten in here without my knowledge?” I feel outraged. 

Casper thinks for a moment, “You stay with her I will investigate..” He jumps down and before he leaves the room he transforms into his true shadow form. He leaves us alone, I slide onto her bed sitting against the pillows, I take the book off her side table and begin to read. 

The book is about a Fallen Angel, it makes me chuckle, she knows more than she even realizes. The book gets a lot wrong but it gives me hope, that when I do tell her she will have an open mind about the situation she is in. 

Savina stirs in her sleep, moving towards me, she wraps her body around my leg. Her head falls into my lap. I gulp down hard, trying to think of anything else. Having her head so close to my own is making me sweat. 

She mumbles in her sleep, but I can’t make out what she is saying. 

A little while later Casper comes back in, in his cat form. 

“There was a portal made down the beach, it was recent” He announces as he jumps up on the bed. 

I feel like I am shaking with anger.

“What will you do?” He asks 

“I need to make a plan, I cannot just blindly go to Hell fueled by only my rage. I need to be smart about this” 

He nods once and curls up beside Savina, falling asleep. I stay and stand watch over her as she sleeps. I can go weeks with no sleep. I have done it before, if it means keeping her safe I will do it for the rest of my life. 

I stay up all night thinking about my plan. I need to make an appearance in Hell, to speak to Asmoddeus, he is the only one who I believe will listen to me. If I can get him to hear me out, we may have a chance to overthrow Adrian. I know my father will help me speak with him, I can try and get Azazel on my side as well. Morfran is a long shot, he seems very devoted to Adrian, but if it’s out of fear and not actual loyalty I may have him too.  The more of them I get on my side the better the outcome will be. My Father was the first ruler of Hell, Adrian overthrowing him was not taken kindly by the underworld. Adrian is a hated man, but nobody has enough nerve to do anything about it. Until now. 

He may be 3500 years older than me but I will take him down. 

Around 6:30 AM I sneak out of Savina’s bed, taking a shower and getting ready for the day. 

Savin’s graduation ceremony is at 10AM, I was going to make her a big breakfast and then we would go to the stadium where the ceremony is being held. After that I was going to take her for lunch and give her the necklace. Now I just hope everything goes to plan, just for one day. I can figure out everything else after that. 

I can hear Savina coming out of her bedroom, I pour her a cup of tea. 

“Good morning Graduate!” I say as I slide it across the counter to her

“Morning Hayden..” She mutters

“How did you sleep?” I ask 

“Funny, my neck is killing me. I had some weird dreams too” She yawns and sips her tea

“Weird how?” I ask 

She shrugs “ Just strange is all” She takes another sip.

“Well eat up and get ready, we have a big day ahead!” I encourage her to take some french toast and sausages.

I watch her for a few minutes take a few small bites, but she pushes her plate away quickly.

“You okay?” 

“Yeah, just a nervous stomach I guess” She shrugs 

“Well, you’ve already done the hard part… all you have to do now is take a diploma and shake an old guy's hand” She starts to giggle at that.

“You’re right.. I’m gonna go have a bath to try and calm myself a bit” She gets up taking her tea with her “Thanks for breakfast!” She calls over her shoulder before entering her room. 

I clean up the kitchen, wrapping up the leftover food for later. I go get dressed. A pair of simple black dress pants and a green dress shirt. I throw on my suit jacket, pulling it all together, I want today to be perfect for her. I think she will like me in a suit.

I’m sitting on the couch waiting for her, when she comes out in a black dress, it is form fitted and goes to her mid thigh. She has a pair of black heels on with it, making her legs look like a long piece of silk.  

“Wow…” I murmur as she comes forward, she has her hair down in a side braid, coming down past her shoulder. She is wearing very simple makeup with just a touch of red lipstick. 

“Do I look okay? Is it too much? I know I will have the gown and cap on so I wasn’t sure what to wear and-” I get up and walk towards her pulling her into a deep kiss, cutting her off. She tends to ramble on when she’s nervous. 

“You look perfect Sav” I tell her as I kiss her once more. I can almost feel her melting in my arms when I kiss her. 

“Ready to go?” I ask, she nods her head then stops “Do you have a camera? I want you to take my photo when I walk across the stage if that’s okay?” 

“You think I didn’t think of that?” I show her my camera in my pocket and my phone has a camera too. “Do you want to take a few before we go?” 

“Could we?” Her eyes light up with excitement.

“Of course, we have lots of time, want to take some on the beach?” She nods once more, leading the way, I pull my phone out and start photographing her beauty. 

“Let’s take some together!” She calls out as she comes back to me. We take some selfies, once she is satisfied we go to the car, I open her door for her as always. Her dress rides up when she sits down, making me groan when I see the tops of her thighs peeking at me. 

We make it with time to spare, “I’m going to go find a good seat while you get ready. I’ll see you after” I give her a kiss before heading to the seating area. 

A little while later the rest of the families show up and start sitting down, after that the ceremony starts. Savina is near the end of the list so there's a lot of waiting, I don’t mind. This is so important for her, I could wait all day to see her smiling and walking across that stage. I am so proud of her for finishing. 

The principal is finally at the W’s now, she should be coming up soon. Five kids go by and then her name is called 

“Savina Woolscroft” The tall skinny man calls out, She walks onto the stage with the biggest smile on her face, my heart swells with pride. I take my phone out and video her stage walk. She looks for me in the crowd, waving and blowing a kiss when she sees me. I smile proudly back at her.
