Alpha Eric's POV Anita!.'' I yelled through mind link and the only thing I could hear was Anita murmuring words to me, which I couldn't understand. ''What is wrong? Where are you?'' I asked in panic while my wolf kept howling with discomfort in my head, but there was no response or signals from her, which made me restless. ''Tell me where you are.'' I asked in fear, but still no response from her. ''Damn it!'' I yelled in anger and vanished away I found myself in her mother's apartment in the snowpack. I rushed into the building and met her mother preparing the table, and she was a bit surprised to see me, but she knew I had the ability to appear in places. ''Alpha…'' I did not let her finish before I cut in, ''Where is Anita?'' I asked in fear while searching around? ''She is still on her way, is everything okay?'' She asked. ''No, something is wrong.'' I groaned in frustration and roughly ran my fingers through my hair while I thought on what to do. Never in my life was I this helpless. I took in a deep breath and inhaled deeply, and this time, I got the scent of Anita. With hasty feet, I raced towards the direction of her scent, and my heart stopped for a moment at what I saw. I saw the car Anita went out with, in a fatal accident, pieces of the car were littered on the road. The car was bringing out smoke, showing the accident just occurred few minutes ago. With panting breath, I rushed to the car, easily broke the windows and took Anita and her maid out. ''Anita.'' I called out in fear, but got no response from her, while the maid's eyes were gradually closing. Quickly, I placed my hands on them, and we vanished and appeared in my physician's house. ''Alpha, what is wrong?'' He was shocked, at the same time his eyes went to the bodies on the floor. Quickly, he rushed to Anita and checked her pulse, while his assistant checked on Laura. ''Is she still breathing?'' I asked in fear while I watched the physician trying to check her pulse. ''Get the healer alpha,'' He murmured, and without wasting much time I vanished and found myself in Clinton's apartment. ''Alpha, is everything alright.'' He asked, but I did not say a word, rather I held his hand and vanished with him. We appeared back in the physician's apartment and saw him still trying to keep Anita alive. ''Luna.'' Clinton yelled and rushed to Anita, placed his hand on her bleeding head and closed his eyes while he murmured words I couldn't hear or understand. He kept murmuring words while I fixed my gaze on her bleeding Head waiting for the Injury to vanish but instead nothing was happening. ''What is wrong Clinton, she isn't healing.'' I yelled in fear, but Clinton shook his head and opened his Eyes. ''She was already dead before I lay my hands on her.'' He whispered those words to himself, but I heard him. I muttered out quickly, but Clinton shook his head and gave me a sad look. He lay his hands on the maid and her injuries healed, but she was still unconscious. ''No.''my heart aches in pains while I Placed kisses on her face begging her to wake up, but I felt her getting cold in my arms. Never in my life was I this weak and in so much pains. Laying dead in my arms was Anita, my mate, who was also three months pregnant with my baby. ''Goddess.'' I yelled angrily and tightly hugged her, but noticed her fascinating scent of fresh hibiscus flower was gone. ''I'm so sorry, I'm deeply sorry.'' I yelled in pains and closely hugged her in my arms while I placed a kiss on her forehead and vanished away. I found myself on the floor of our room. I stood on my feet with Anita in my arms while I walked up to our bed and lay her on it. ''Chris.'' I mind link my Beta, and he responded quickly ''Come to my room.'' ''Roger that.'' I stared at the lifeless body of my mate and felt my heart clenched. We were just here a few hours ago and here she is dead and gone in a twinkle of an eye. ''Holy goddess.'' Hearing those words From her, made me clenched my fist in outrage as her words made me realized someone was responsible for Anita's death, and it wasn't Just an accident. ''What happened next?'' I asked. ''I don't know, but I think the car drove into the woods.'' She murmured and cried. ''Damn it!'' I yelled in rage and walked few steps into the woods only to see a car which was hit against a tree. Quickly I rushed to the car and found no one in the car, I looked around hoping to find that man and if he was alive, I will give that man the most painful death of his life. I searched around the bushes and noticed the person was gone. Groaning angrily, I vanished and appeared back in the physician's house. ''Did you see the face of the person.'' I asked ''It was a man driving the car, but I couldn't see his face.'' She whispered In a low, weak tone. I caught the pity gaze of Clinton on me, which made me groaned angrily and vanished away. I appeared in front of the door of my room and met Chris standing by the door. ''The maids are cleaning her.'' I nodded my head to his words and entered the room, only to meet the maids combing her hair. Quickly, the servants lowered their head in respect and continued what they were doing. I could hear the silent sobs from the servants as each of them were busy dressing different parts of her body. Standing by the door, I watched Anita sleeping peacefully in the beautiful blue long dress she was wearing. Painfully, I held back the tears that threatened to fall down on my cheek before I closed my eyes and mind link the seer ''Austin.''
