Kendrick didn't see the cliff before him while he was running. He stumbled and fell down the cliff. Mira and Mara saw the fall and rushed at the edge of the cliff and watched as the river was sweeping him away. Mara saw the soldiers from Moza descending on them.

"I will lure them away. Promise me that you will go after the prince and keep him safe" Mara was saying..

"Mara please" Mira was trying to stop her from what she was about to do.

"Promise me!!! Mara shouted.

" I promise" Mira said while almost in tears.

Mara ran off and Mira jumped down the cliff and the water swept her off as well.

The soldiers saw Mara running and their attention was drawn to her. They chased her deeper into the forest.

Down the cliff, the water was rushing so fast and Kendrick was unconsciously dangling on it towards the dangerous side of the rocky forest. Mira swum close to him and held his hand and used her left hand to hold a stem.

A moment later Kendrick was lying on the dry land while Mira was trying to revive him using her hands to press down his chest and slapping his face while screaming his name. "Wake up you stupid prince"!!! She slapped him so hard and Kendrick coughed and opened his eyes.

" I thought I lost you" Mira cried tears of joy.

"Would you cry for me if I died?" Kendrick asked but Mira slapped him hard, stood up and stepped away from him.

"I know how you feel. Your heart is divided. You can't take me down to Akere because your father will kill me. You can't stay alive and watch me die. You love me" Kendrick said.

"Shut up Kendrick. Mara is in trouble and I'm going to rescue her" Mira said.

She explained to Kendrick how the soldiers from Moza came into the forest and how Mara lured them away. "They will kill her" Mira was in tears.

"Tell me. Do you trust me?" Kendrick was asking. But Mira didn't know what to answer.

"Your sister will be free from my father's soldiers if you allow me to handle this. But first you need to trust me and untie my hands"

Mira didn't know what to do at the moment. She was confused and somehow Kendrick might be right. He might be able to rescue Mara from the soldiers from Moza. She untied his hands and helped him to stand up.

They took the path Mara and the soldiers took and saw them returning to the cliff side with Mara. The leader of the soldiers came down from his horse and spoke., "my Prince we are happy to see you again. We will escort you back to Moza alongside with these two ladies. Your father will kill them for laying hands on you"

"You will do no such thing. Release the girl" Kendrick commanded. The soldiers released Mara and she went to stand at Mira's side.

"Me and the girls will continue our journey down to Akere tribe. Tell my father to come to Akere if he wants to see me. More so he should come and make peace with the leader of Akere tribe. I have found love in Akere" the Prince finalised. The soldiers were confused, Mira and Mara were shocked at Kendrick's response. But still they didn't know whom Kendrick was in love with amongst them.
