Mira and Mara watched as the soldiers mounted their horses and galloped away, back to Moza.

"Now let's go to Akere to meet with your father" Kendrick said and presented his hands for them to tie him again. Mira approached him and said, "you are playing games with us right?

"Does it matter Mira?" Mara said and went straight to tie Kendrick's hands but Mira stopped her. "No don't"

"Why?" Mara was confused but she didn't see it coming. Mira stabbed her and Kendrick was shocked. Mara held her stomach and stepped back as blood ran down from her mouth. She couldn't believe that Mira just stabbed her. She knelt, still holding her stomach.

"Mira" Kendrick called her name.

"You said so yourself Kendrick. My sister Mara was going to over smart me to become the Queen of Moza. I want that position more than anything. Take me back to Moza. I don't want to go back to Akere. I want to be your Queen"

MARA fell flat and Kendrick was not saying anything. He was just staring at her.

"Why are you not saying anything Kendrick" Mira asked.

"It is Mara that I'm in love with. Because of her I wanted my father and your father to make peace. Because of her I wanted to take the risk of setting my foot in Akere land but now if she dies do you think you deserve anything Mira?"

Mira was shocked. She couldn't bear the fact that Kendrick was in love with Mara. She turned to finish off Mara but Kendrick hit her and she fainted. Kendrick went down on his kneels in front of Mara. Mara was still lying down as she begged, "Please don't kill Mira. She is my twin sister"

"If she wanted to kill you then she is not fit to be your twin sister. I would have taken you down to Akere for treatment but there is no horse and the soldiers have gone back to Moza. Just then the soldiers Kendrick sent back to Moza rode back and their leader dismounted. Kendrick was happy they came back.

"We never left. We knew you might need our help and so we waited around. Which way are we taking? Moza or Akere? The leader of the soldiers asked.

"help me with Mara. We are ridding to Akere" Kendrick spoke and the soldiers helped put Mara on a horse and they all rode to Akere, leaving Mira still fainted on the ground.

In Akere, the leader of the tribe was dumbfounded when he saw the Prince of Moza bringing back one of his daughters.

Kendrick and his soldiers were put under guard and Mara was taken inside for treatment.

Kendrick and his soldiers were brought in to answer questions from the leader of the tribe. The wife was beside her husband as they listened to Kendrick's narration. They believed him for one reason that Kendricks wouldn't risk his life to come to Akere if he was just coming to lie. The leader of Akere and his wife were heartbroken. The leader sent some of his men to go and bring back Mira from the forest. Whatever she did she was still their daughter.

The King of Moza received this sad news from his spies; how his son willingly submitted himself to Akere tribe for the sake of peace and woman. With anger he disowned his son Kendrick and swore he would never succeed his throne . He learnt that one of the daughter's of the leader of Akere was still lying in the forest. He sent more soldiers to go and bring her back to Moza.
