Mara was through with her bath. She stepped out and dressed up. Kendrick's hands were still tied behind him as Mira pulled him up.

"Mara the beauty of your body is astonishing" Kendrick said to Mara. Mara was surprised. No man had ever appreciated her beauty before and of course no man in Akere knew nothing about the beauty of a woman. She smiled and Mira got jealous.

"What's that smile for?" Mira asked her sister.

"Are you jealous Mira?" Mara asked.

"Jealous of what?" Mira asked.

The two sisters glared at each other for a long time.

"Your sister Mira likes me. She is planning to release me because secretly she wants to become the next Queen of Moza. I think she is jealous because she likes me" Prince Kendrick blabbed.

Mira got angry and used the buttom of her sword to hit Kendrick's face and he fell on the ground. Mara pushed Mira away.

"How dare you hit him. You are planning to free him and you already love him?" Mara shouted.

"If you don't care about him why are you pushing me?" Mira thundered.

"I'm pushing you because we need to deliver him to father alive" Mara maintained.

"You lie. You push because you want to protect his fine face" Mira screamed.

This got Mara so angry and she pushed Mira again. Mira dropped the sword and punched Mara in the face. Mara touched her mouth with her finger and looked at her finger and there was blood on it. She got mad and the fight began. The two ladies fell inside the water and continued fighting fiercely.

This was an opportunity for Kendrick to escape back to Moza but his hands were still tied behind him. Still Kendrick managed to run away. Mara and Mira noticing that Kendrick was gone stopped fighting at once and ran out from the water.

"He is gone" Mara said.

"He won't be so fast. Let's go after him" Mira said and they ran off in pursuit of Kendrick.

Kendrick was seen running, falling and getting up to continue running.

In Moza, the King was back from his trip and had heard what happened while he was away. He sent soldiers to go after Mara and Mira at once. "Go before they reach Akere with my son" the king cried. The soldiers sped off at once.
