Reni stopped crying inside her cell and wiped her tears. "Am I the one crying? Me, Reni, a powerful woman that kidnapped the daughter of the late king Obieze, took her to the great city of Tan, sold her and got hold of an army? Me? I should not be crying. I should be powerful. I should be strong like a rock. Adaeze needs me regardless" she stood up and looked around, still feeling the pains on her back. She made up her mind to escape.

Down the cliff, Adaeze and her remaining men, including Chaze had swon out but were terrified to see that the Mazubians were also jumping down the cliff in an attempt to apprehend or kill them.

"We won't be able to outrun them. We have to stand and fight to death" said Chaze. Adaeze looked at him and admired his courage.

 "Stand your ground and this time, fight to death" screamed Adaeze and her remaining men roared in unison and charged for a last fight. The Mazubians started running forward to meet them. Once again there was clashing of swords and screaming. Adaeze watched while her men fell. Chaze knew they did not stand a chance and so he decided to die fighting beside Adaeze.

In Achala, Mirama was now seated before the elders and humbly listened to what they had to say. One of the elders stood and said, "we are humans and we insisting on continuing to be your enemy will not favour us or the poor people of Achala. We heard that the only daughter of our late king and late Queen chose to go to the dreaded land of Mazuba. We understand that the family of late king Obieze is a family of destiny, destiny for all and not just for Achala. His daughter has taken his footsteps. Obieze always said that a true King's position is not on the throne but on a horse. Adaeze had taken a horse in an attempt to liberate the world from the land where evil came from. Your coming here was decided by The Founder; the god of destiny and so we will not go against his plans. We will support your fight against Mazuba as long as you are fighting on the side of the heiress to this throne of Achala"

Mirama stood up and began after the man had finished, "I make a vow today that Adaeze will rule the earth and I will support her"

The whole elders stood and began to pray for Mirama.

Down the cliff, Adaeze saw that all her men had fallen except Chaze and herself. She threw her sword in the air and before it graced her hand again she begged the god of thunder to posses her weapon and unleash death upon her enemies. The god of thunder obeyed the god of destiny and released thunder from the skies. Just then Chaze was stabbed. He fell. The sword entered Adaeze's hand again and thunder from it began to hit the enemies hard. They began to fall. Adaeze advanced, cutting her enemies to the ground. At a point she stopped and turned around. She was the only one standing. Everybody was lying dead, except Chaze who was holding his stomach where he laid.

In Mazuba. The Seers entered the cell with the general of Mazuba in attempt to use Reni for a sacrifice but they found two dead soldiers and a bloody knife lying beside them. Reni was gone.
