The Conqueror Season 7

In Mazuba, Reni was being tormented by the Mazubian soldiers. They first bared her back and began to whip her with heavy leader whips. Reni screamed until she lost her voice. One of the men dragged her by the hair and took her close to the burning logs, picked one of the burning logs and used it on the wounds on her back. Reni screamed and fainted. They dragged her back to the block and made her lie on it with her kneels on the ground.

Inside the leader's chamber the Seers brought out their monitoring mirrors and began to invoke what they called See It From Afar. Just then the cliff top where Adaeze and her men were fighting against the Mazubians. The leader began to watch. The way Adaeze was fighting made the leader frown his face. "Who did you say this girl is?" He asked the seers.

"She is the daughter of Obieze. We all heard how the greatest fighter ever to walk the earth was taken away alongside his wife by The Founder" said one of the seers.

"That could be a rumour" said the leader.

"It is not a rumour my lord. Obieze and his wife were taken to the afterlife by The Founder" said another seer.

"Are you saying that this girl called Adaeze was destined to destroy us? Is that what you are saying?" Asked leader.

"I'm afraid it is so. Her coming was predicted but...

" but what?!!! The leader was angered by the hopeless way the seers talked.

"There is another way. She may be a destined child but everybody has a weak point. Hers is her heart" said one of the seers.

"How do you mean?" Asked the leader.

"The soldiers said your hunter Chaze betrayed you and ran off because somehow they found out he cared about Adaeze. He had gone to help her. I want you to see this as an opportunity and not as a betrayal. We have to wait while Chaze loves her and influences her to love him back, then we will use him against her and have her stopped" said another seer. The founder thought for a while and before he could speak one of his men walked up to them and knelt. "My lord, Reni has refused to utter a word. If we continue to torture her she will die in the process"

The king ordered them to take her to the nurses and after that they should return her to her cell and return to their posts. The seers continued to watch the fight between Adaeze and the Mazubians.

At the clifftop, Adaeze and her men realised that the Mazubian soldiers hardly die when stabbed once or twice but one had to stab them five times to have them killed. This was dark magic at work and Adaeze had found that six of her men had fallen. Kanan was fighting like a beast and so was Chaze. At the end Adaeze realised they had to jump over the cliff for the Mazubians were many. On her order Adaeze and her men began to fall over the cliff down to the downcliff. The fall was scary as most of Adaeze's men fell and hit their heads on the rocks, dying instantly. Adaeze and the remaining ones began to swim out of the water. The Mazubains looked down the cliff and one of them said, "they are running away from us! But we will go after them and kill them all!!!" The Mazubians began to jump down the cliff as well. This made Adaeze realise they were in for something.

On the road to Achala was Mirama and the people of Tan who volunteered to follow her. People of Achala who saw her enter their land were terrified as they thought she was still the old Mirama who brought destruction to their land in the past. Mirama and her men headed to the palace of Achala. On reaching their the elders of the palace stepped out to see who had come. They recognised her and so they waited for the worst but there was no fear in their eyes. They were old men who no longer feared for their lives. Mirama got down from her horse and approached them. When she was standing before them she knelt before them and began to cry. The elders looked at one another as one of them spoke, "is that tears for us in advance? If yes then we are ready to die in your hands you scourge of the world" Mirama kept crying until one of the men of Tan stepped forward to explain. He let the elders of Achala know that Mirama was crying out of remorse. He explained that Mirama had come to help rebuild what she destroyed. The elders could not believe their ears as they looked at one another.

In Mazubian cell, Reni was seated, burying her head in between her legs. She kept sobbing unstoppably.
