Zack's Point of View "Ah," Lenny screamed as she threw the potions in front of her off the table. "What is wrong?" I asked as I walked into the room. "Everything. Two days ago I felt her presence and now nothing." "Who?" "My mother." I walked towards her and pulled her into my embrace. "You are powerful and strong. When the time comes you will find her, till then come to bed," I whispered in her ear. "Your right." I smiled, grabbed her hand, and pulled her towards our room. As I lay in bed with Lenny fast asleep I couldn't stop thinking about the woman who haunted my dreams. I felt like I knew her but it was just a dream. As I began to close my eyes a glowing orb appeared. I looked at it and it flew out of the door, then back in towards me. I knew it wanted me to follow it. I carefully removed Lenny's head from on top of my chest and slid out of my bed. I followed the orb through the halls and into the basement leading to the cells. "Is everything okay sir?" One of the guards asked as I approached the cells. "Yes, I am just checking everything out." The guard moved and I walked into the hall that lead to the cells. They didn't see the orb so someone was using magic to lure me down here. I would keep my guard up. As I passed by the cells filled with people the orb just kept going. Prisoners would scream at me to let them go and I just ignored them. Suddenly the orb flew into a cell and disappeared. I walked up to the cell and looked in. "Zack," A man said as he approached the bars. "Who are you?" I asked. "I am Tristan a friend of yours." I laughed and said, "If you were a friend then you would not be in the cells." "It is true," A young female voice said causing my heart to start rapidly beating. The female approached the bars and I held my breath. It was her the one from my dream. "Who are you?" I asked. "Cora," She whispered with tears in her eyes. "Do you not remember me?" "Cora. That is a beautiful name." "Zack, what has she done to you?" She asked as she touched my hand. I felt tingles going up my arm from where she touched and I pulled my arm back. "Do not touch me. Why did the orb come here? What do you want?" "Out. We have families. All of us do," The man named Tristan said. "My mate has you here because you have acted against her. This is your punishment for your crimes." "Crimes. That is funny when she has committed every crime possible. Burned down our homes, taking people from their families, made you forget who you are and the list goes on. Hell, she is killing the planet but ya we committed the crimes." "I had enough. You will be charged for your crimes in time," And I walked away closing the fist to my right arm. The same arm the women had touched because the tingles were not going away. As I walked out of the cells I decided to take a stroll outside instead of returning to my bed. As I walked around outside the tingling was spreading so I sat down and looked up to the sky. There was no moon or stars anymore. Where they right? As I sat down on the ground and laid back my head started to hurt and suddenly I saw images of Cora. We were in a house and I could hear her screaming. I watched as she and I had s*x and became mates but that made no sense. Lenny was my mate. I watched as Cora and my relationship grew and then I saw the moment Lenny went dark. As this life passed through my head I sat up and looked around. It was like my whole life was a lie. I quickly got up and ran back to the cells and straight to her. "Cora," I whispered and she came towards me with Tristan in tow. "Yes Zack," She asked as she sniffled. "Why are you here?" "Because it was time for me to return." "And our child?" I asked causing her to gasp. "You remember?" "I do, Where is our child?" Just then I heard the clicking of shoes and looked to my right. Lenny was coming towards me with an angry look on her face but soon her face lit up as she saw Cora. "Welcome back Cora. You must have been the energy source I felt. Where is my mother?" She asked as she approached. "Not here." "Search every cell. I want my mother's head," Lenny yelled to her soldiers. Her soldiers started opening cells and looking through everyone. "What are you doing Lenny?" I asked. "You will see. Bring her," She said to one of her men and then grabbed my arm. I tried to shake her hand off me but she looked at me and said, "Zack come now. She is one of the leaders of the rebellion." "I am not," Cora screamed but I knew I needed to play along. "Yes, dear." I walked with Lenny out the cells and into the great room. Cora was being dragged by one of the guards and screaming. I walked with Lenny up to the thrones and took a seat while Core was pushed to the ground in front of us. "So Cora, where is my mother?" "Not here," She yelled. "Oh, Cora my dear. You will not be able to save her. I will find her and kill her just like I will kill you." Cora looked at me with pleading eyes but I turned my gaze to Lenny. "Is that necessary?" I asked. "Of course. She tried to steal you from me." "I did not steal him. YOu stole him from me and my child." "Ah yes, the child. Where is the little brat?" She asked. "Safe away from you. YOu will never find it." "I will and when I do I might just keep it as mine." "No. Zack please stop her. Please come back to me," Cora pleaded and I just looked at her. I needed to do something.
