Elder Rachel's Point of View A year ago I left Haven and today I returned. As I looked around Helen said, "Where are we?" "My coven, well what's left of it." My beautiful coven was burned down. Some buildings were now ash while others were burnt to a crisp but my house still stood. I walked over to it and waved my hand in front of it to see what she did to it. "Why is this one building still standing?" Helen asked. "This is my home but she has placed a spell over it. No one should enter it because God only knows what type of spell she has placed on it." "Okay," Helen said and then turned around. She looked at the crowd of people and said, "Okay everyone listen up." Helen waited for everyone to stop talking and then said, "This building right here." She pointed to my house. "Is not meant to be touched. There is dark magic placed on it, so do not risk it. I want everyone to begin their tasks. We leave as soon as Cora gets here." As everyone began to disperse I looked at Helen and said, "So where is Cora?" "She will be here soon." "Seers," I said as I walked away. I wasn't sure what to do or where to go. My coven was gone and I had no clue if they were alive. I saw a log on the ground and sat on it. I'm not sure how long I sat there looking into the woods but soon Helen's voice brought me out of thoughts. "Penny for your thoughts?" "huh?" I asked. "What is on your mind?" She asked. "I feel powerless. I have no clue what your plan is or what I am supposed to do. I have no clue if anyone is left alive. I feel helpless," I said. Helen sat down next to me and said, "I know that this is confusing and you feel powerless but as a seerer, I can't always give the answers." "I know, the laws of magic and blah blah blah." Helen smiled and stood up. "Time to go." "Cora is here?" "Yes." I looked around but did not see her. "Where is she." "That I do not know. All I know is that she is here. From here on out I do not know the outcome. I knew what needed to be done to get here and keep my people safe but once Cora arrived the rest I don't know." "Okay. So we need to find Cora. Locator spell," I said as I rubbed my hands back and forth. That would be easy to do. Helen grabbed my arm and said, "No. I will have someone else do it. If you or I do it then the dark witch will know we are here." I closed my eyes and said, "Fine but hurry up." "Marry," Helen yelled and suddenly a teenage girl came towards us. "I'm ready," She said as she approached and began grabbing items from a tote bag she carried. "What are you doing?" I asked. "We can not alarm the witch," The girls said. She grabbed a ball out of the bag and set it on the ground. "Are we preforming carnval tricks?" I asked. Fortune tellers used crystal balls, not witches. "This crystal ball will help ground your magic while Mary helps you find Cora," And I just shook my head. Once Mary had everything set up she grabbed my hand and placed it on the crystal while holding my other one. "Close your eyes and focus on Cora. LEt my magic flow through you." I did as she told me to do and soon I felt her magic flow through me, masking my own magic. I had never seen this happen before. As I thought about Cora suddenly I was transported into a dark room. I looked around and I saw groups of people in cages. I walked around and I saw my coven members, Tristan, Leo and so many people I had known. "Tristan," I said as I approached the cage and he looked at me. "Rachel, what are you doing here? Better yet where have you been?" Rachel," I heard Cora say as she walked up to the cage beside Tristan. "How are you here?" I asked Cora. "Where is Hope?" "The portal opened here and Hope is with Peter." I sighed in relief. "I am not sure how long I can astroproject to you but where are you guys?" "Lenny's dungeon. It is on top of the tallest mountain in Haven," Tristan said. "I am coming for you." "You can't. Her army is huge and growing. You will be captured before you can even make it to the mountain." "Don't worry. Helen has a plan." "Who is Helen?" Both Cora and Tristan asked at the same time. "A powerful witch. That is all you need to know. Hang tight and Cora don't let Lenny know you are here." "I won't." "I need to go. Don't do anything stupid Cora. I am coming," And I started to disappear. I opened my eyes and looked around. "Well?" Helen asked. "She is with everyone that Lenny has taken in the castle. She will remain hidden." "Okay. Do you know where this castle is?" "Tallest mountain here but the problem is the army she has." "Well her army is no match for us. We will walk to that mountain then when we get closer we all can start to use our powers. Till then we must lay low. The longer we are here without her knowledge the better off we are." "Sounds good." "Listen up everyone. It is time to go. Say goodbye to your loved ones who will be staying behind. Those of you staying behind do not use any magic. We want the eliminate of surprise." It took about ten minutes and we began walking through the forest. Soon Haven would be safe and my only child would be dead.
