Baine's POV
I got a text from Colby that read, "Keep Mia distracted and off the main level." I swear I reread it a dozen times trying to read into what could possibly be going on. I didn't tell him I was bringing her here, which meant that John must have or one of the pack members that had seen her. Most know her name from seeing her working at Trish's coffee shop.
Mia and I were sitting in the theater room in the back of the pack house. There was a set of stairs just outside of here, so we didn't actually have to walk through the main area.
Whatever was going on, it must be serious because Colby never texted me back when I asked him what was going on, and he had a block put up, so I couldn't link him. Same with John.
