Adaline's POV

I have been awake for 3 hours now, James has been enthusiastically telling me all the adventures he has had with Barrett over the last three days. I couldn't help but smile at Barrett for being there, it seemed 100% of the time. I mouthed a thank you to him, he smiled and nodded and adjusted James who was passed out now on his shoulder. "I'm going to take him back to the house to lay him down before dinner and see if I can get the doctor in here to clear you so you can sleep in a normal bed tonight." Barrett stood up to strech his legs but carefully enought to not wake James. "That would be really nice, I would love to get out of here." My papa entered the room with the doctor as Barrett was at the door "Oh good I was just going to get you to clear Adaline, I'll be right back." She bowed to him "hello my angel how are you feeling?" Papa was sat near me now holding my hand. "Much better I am not in any pain and my headache is long gone."

Dr. Sandra walks over to the machine jotting down what she sees, that being I have no idea. She does some basic tests for me and takes notes. "On a scale of one to ten, what is your pain level throughout your whole body?" She was watching me carefully. I had to think about it "honestly, around three, mostly because the lights and sounds are more defined. Before my change it would have been a ten for sure, but its fine now." She nodded "and how about your wolf? Have you spoken to her at all? How does she feel?" I cleared my mind for a second "Selena? I haven't heard from you since I awoke. Are you okay?" I swear it seemed like I could see her stir in the back of my mind. She chuckled. "You will get used to that. Yes, I am okay. I have just been resting but I am almost 100%" I nodded to her. "Good she says she's almost back to 100." Dr. Sandra hmm and nodded, she seemed to do that a lot, "Okay, I would say you are good to go then, just make sure if anything feels off, to call me and I would like to see you in a few days once Selena is at her best to run a few more tests." Just then Barrett walked back in.

He shook my Papa's hand, "so what's the verdict?" He looked between the three of us, "all cleared you can take her home!" He practically jumped for joy, lifted me off the bed and started walking towards the door. My papa followed laughing. "I can walk, you know?" I playfully swatted his arm. "I know, but no mate of mine will after being in the hospital." I really do not deserve this man. We arrived back at our room. "I am in desperate need of a hot bath!" I started walking to the bathroom. "Say no more", Barrett pushed past me and I heard the water running. I finally was able to catch what I looked like in the mirror of the bedroom. It was crazy. My eyes were more blue, my body seemed to be fuller. "Thats what having me does. I mean I was always there, but me being awake brought forth the wolf's human body. You are stronger, faster, your senses are heightened." Thats when I noticed the smell of lavender coming from the bathroom, "I want to rip all of his clothes off right now", Selena growled in my mind as we saw Barrett leaning on the door frame. Down girl I thought back to her and she huffed. I walked to him though.

It was like I was on auto pilot. I practically grabbed his face and slammed my lips into his. I heard a growl rumble in his chest and that made my core tighten and I felt the pool start to form. He pulled away and I whimpered "Adaline". He let out a heavy breath "as much as I want this and believe me I do, I think you should rest your body." Wrong answer sir. "I have rested for three days. We are back to normal. I am feeling more than okay actually." While he was reading whether or not I was lying, he hadn't realized I had undone his pants. I lowered myself and his pants in one quick movement. I heard him gasp and I giggled as I knew I was winning. I took him into my mouth. I was so hungry for him. He started to moan, and grabbed my hair in his fists to help guide me. The faster I went, the closer he came to releasing, just when I thought he was going to come undone, he pulled me to my feet, slammed his lips to mine and carried me to the bed. He ripped my hospital gown off, which I just realized I was wearing. His eyes roamed over me, "Goddess Adaline, you are perfect." Then he buried his face between my thighs. He growled into my core and he began sucking and licking like his life depended on it. I felt the build up, I began moaning more, grabbing the sheets tightly. I screamed out his name as my climax hit. He stood up and aligned to my entrance and slammed into me.

The sensation was all new. I felt electricity all around me, everywhere he touched. I bucked my hips to meet his thrusts and he moved faster. I felt the build up again and then I felt Barrett kiss my neck, then his canines graze my skin where he marked me, I shuddered and moaned. Then he sank them into my marking spot. I orgasmed and saw stars dancing in my vision. "Your turn Adaline", Selena said to me. I felt my canines elongate. I leaned and kissed Barretts' spot and sank in marking him, "f**k Adaline, yes." Then I felt him fill me up. We were a panting mess. He lifted me up and took me to the bathroom. "Your bath is getting cold". He placed me in the tub in front of him and feathered kisses all over me. "I love you Adaline so much" I heard Barrett in my mind, "I love you too", I said back, and I heard him giggle "finally."
