Chiara felt happy that at the end of the day, she found something that is right. The Goddess gave them another chance to live. She thanked the Goddess for this blessing.  “Call them. We need to get in." She commanded as she watched the wall move like a door.  It opened for them and they saw a beautiful paradise they never thought existed.  Inside was beautiful. Trees were growing healthy mostly bearing fruits, flowers scattered on the floor, clean and fresh water flowing on the river, and animals peacefully living inside. They saw big mammals playing and no one was fighting. The air in the forest also smells good. It smelled like damp moss, rain, wet tree trunks, and flowers. It smells like home.  “I’ll get them.” Brandon backed to his senses and walked out to call their pack. Everyone was nervously waiting for them to come out. They just sighed in relief when they saw that the Beta was fine and smiling at them.  “What’s inside, Dad?" Beta's son, Brix asked.  “Home,” he said while smiling at them. A smile broke on their faces when they heard what he said. They heard hope. “Let’s go inside. The future Alpha was waiting for us.”  His son followed him when he turned around and walked back inside. Everyone followed too without any doubt, they trust this person. They were amazed as they saw the place. They also saw Chiara was waiting for them.  With a forced smile on her face, she indicated them to come inside. Beta Brandon walked in first and smelt the fresh scent of the forest. Followed by others, they were amazed by the place they discovered. It is way better than their previous home. It was so enchanting.  When the last member walked inside the cave, the kid was startled that he almost stumbled when he tried to run. He was surprised by a curtain of vines that suddenly appeared on the entrance. It really covered the entrance of the cave.  “Mother nature is really helping us,” Chiara said. When she heard the nervousness of the boy, she ran fast to check him out but she saw how the vines grew. “Go inside,” she said and rubbed the boy’s head. He nodded and walked inside with others.  “Let’s praise the Goddess later. Also, we need to make a shrine for our parents and family who passed away. We need to make a proper burial for them even if we do not have the body of our dead family.” Kiara, her wolf said to her. That was the first time Kiara talked to her after mourning. When she shut up, her wolf too. But the pack needed her so she pushed herself up for the people her father and mother loved.  “You are right. We need to do that. But still, I want their body and we will try to retrieve it. I want to see them even just for the last time.” Chiara agreed and added some of her own sentiments.  “We will go tomorrow. For now, let’s settle down first. Kids and women need proper rest. Even us,” Kiara said, sadly. “Okay,” Chiara said then she walked inside the paradise. The time all of them were inside, the door closed on its own. They were amazed but never said a thing.  “Hear me out,” Chiara shouted so all of the werewolves looked at her and were ready to listen. “For now, rest first. You can sit everywhere and I will say something. I need your opinion on this.”  They all nodded because they understood her. They all sat down just like what she said. Some were eating some fruits gathered by the Beta a while ago and some were drinking water. They were really exhausted and the most burden they were carrying was the death of their Alpha.  Beta and Delta walked near her to support her. They knew they needed this meeting.  “I know, we just lost our Alpha and Luna, my parents, and you also lost some of your family and we know they will never return to us. It brings great sorrow to everyone. But in spite of all of this, we still need to move on and continue our life. Revenge is not the right choice but we still need to get our land back and other family members that were being captive. This beautiful paradise is just a temporary shelter our Goddess provided for us. We need to get back what is rightfully ours.” She looked at them. She saw some of them shed tears and some were angry. She felt it both. “But before it will happen, we need to be strong. We need a plan. For now, let’s all settle down. We have to find a place here without harming this beautiful nature our Goddess provided for us. We will not take our meat food here but we will hunt outside. That’s for now.” “How about you, being our Alpha?" Brandon asked, which made Chiara turn her gaze to him. It anguished her, hearing the word Alpha because it was her father’s title.  “We will talk about that after we settle down. Also, make a shrine for our family who offered their life for us and to thank the Goddess.” They all nodded because she was right.  “If that's what you want, we will follow.” Beta agreed. “I have found a clearing on that small pathway. It is a good place to build a house. On the way there, you will see fallen trees and cogons. Use these in building your house.” They all nodded again and walked to the direction the Beta pointed.  “Beta, Delta, I want to talk to both of you.” They looked at each other and nodded at her. They waited until the last member left. Chiara looked at Delta Cross. “What happened to the kids?” “I think they are safe since I can still feel my son and daughter. I’m sorry that I can not track them. They really covered their track so well the way I taught them on their lesson with me.” Delta was sad too but at the same time relieved. Her wife was safe and his children were somewhere but alive. “But I saw that someone followed them in the tunnel. They made a trap and killed him. They are fast learners and I believe they can survive.” “I am relieved that they came out of the tunnel alive. We can still find them.” Beta sighed hearing it. He could still feel his son. He knew they were brave kids.  “Yes. Let’s find them tomorrow. But first, let’s go back to the packhouse. I want to get my parent’s body to make a proper burial.” Chiara said and sadness was visible in her eyes.  “As you wish, future Alpha.” Both guys acknowledged her before they followed the other.  Chiara looked at the guy who also stood as her father growing up. Age was not visible on their face but they got more experience with life. Chiara knew she needed them both; a fun and intelligent Delta, and a strict and brave Beta. They are both tall and possess a great power that can overthrow her but they still supported her.  “I won’t disappoint you, Father.” She whispered as he looked at the blue sky.  After everyone was settled down, Beta with Chiara planned to sneak into their land while Delta with some of his men will continue the search for their children. They were safe inside, so it was fine if they left them for a while.  They also saw that the stone they possessed changed its color. The red stones that symbolize their origin were mixed with yellow. It was still beautiful and the effects were the same. Even if they forgot about it, it will come back to them as if they knew their owner.  They discovered that this stone is their pass in going in or out of this cave. The cave recognized them with this.  “Please, be careful and I hope you can find them.” Cross’s wife told him. He just hugged her not making any promises but he will do his best to find them. They were his kids too after all.  “Let’s go,” said Brandon. “If someone saw you, mislead them before going back to the cave.” They all nodded in understanding. They could not compromise their new home.  They all left and they partway, going to their destination. Brandon and Chiara knew their territory well, so they knew where to hide. First, they went to the forest where her father was killed.  “They cleaned it. Maybe they took the body. Let’s go to the packhouse by the tunnel.” Chiara agreed with Brandon.  They chose a tunnel connected to Brandon’s house. It was safer to go there than to the packhouse itself. They slowly walked, not making any sound until they reached the house. Some parts of the house were destroyed but they can still hide. They used their magic to cover up their scent.  They looked around and what they saw shocked them, surprise turned to anger to sorrow. They saw how the Lycans were happy while dancing on the pile of dead bodies. Their captive was tied up on the corner and some being molested. Chiara got mad seeing it.  But what more is heartbreaking, her father's head was pierced through a long stick and being displayed for entertainment. While her mother was in a terrible state as if she was being molested before it was thrown into a pile of bodies. Her clothes were torn and her body has some sticky liquid.  Chiara almost screamed when she saw it. Brandon was fast enough to cover her mouth. They cried seeing how they taunt their Alpha and Luna, and how they degrade them. They witnessed what they did that added fuel to what Chiara felt.  She was burning in furry that she wanted to kill them all. But she knew, that was not the time. She needed to plan it all. They need to take revenge on their loved ones even if it is not good.  They saw the King come out of the packhouse. But instead of being mad, he was laughing with the Alpha of the Lycan.  “Thank you for killing the traitor. I don't want any traitor still freely lurking after he has done.”  With those words, Chiara’s humanity in her heart left her. All she could think was revenge and to kill them all. Because she knew, what they were talking about was not the justice she was asking for.
