As soon as we had got back home from Maui, Amanda had immediately got busy unpacking and organizing her things. There was a lot to do, and she also needed to get prepared for the book launch the next day. I wasn’t all that surprised when she repelled my s****l advances at first.
So as a considerate husband, I decided it would be best to stay out of her way for a few hours. I went down to the office and got started catching up on my own work. I looked over the job applications of the shortlisted candidates that Charlene had sent to me. I sent out lease renewal notices to the tenants whose leases were expiring by the end of July, scheduling clean up of the apartments that were known to be vacating by the end of July, and started planning the annual summer BBQ and pool part
