Mandy’s POV
“I just finished reading The Return of the Wandering Minstrel, and I just could NOT put it down!” My ecstatic editor Lucille was telling me over the phone. “I swear this is your best work yet!”
“Well, great!” I happily reply. “I’m so glad you like it. Sorry about the delay in getting it completed, but you know how it is sometimes.”
“Yes, I know how it is with you young people,” Lucille confides jokingly. “Thinking that you need a bunch of time off for weddings and honeymoons! When you’ve got avid fans crying out for information on when the next book becomes available!”
“I know, and I agree,” I tell her. “I’m just as eager to get this book on the shelves of bookstores, as my fans are!”
“I just hope you get a few more books written before you start popping out babies!”
