Mandy’s POV
Saturday morning arrived and Powells Books in downtown Portland was a very busy place today. Probably over 200 children and parents had crowded in to listen to me read from my latest book, and then stand in line to get their purchases signed. I was willing to sign any of my books that people bought today, not just the new one. And everyone seemed to be enthusiastic about my new book, claiming that this one was the best yet.
“My children absolutely adore your books!” I had heard from more than one enthusiastic parent while I signed their books. “I swear they must have made me read each one a hundred times!”
