Mark’s POV “You look perfect,” I tell Amanda after she had already changed her outfit twice. Originally I had suggested she wear the wedding dress again and I’d wear my tuxedo, since this afternoon’s party was ostensibly a pseudo wedding reception. She tried the dress on, but felt it had gotten just a little too snug from all our foodie pursuits in Maui. “One too many macadamia nut pancakes, I suppose,” she told me with a touch of chagrin. Then changed into something I felt was far too casual. Finally she donned the sun dress and hat from the book launch, so we got a bit of a late start in heading to the party. No big deal, right?
