Within minutes, footsteps were heard before I saw them walk into the chambers i was in, my knees still on the ground, I didn’t have the energy to look up and see who it was because the fact was that it wasn’t the person I wanted to see, it wasn’t Hayden.

My body jerked when something soft was thrown on me, my eyes went up to the figure that stood before me and my brows furrowed when they met hers, Tamara, My sister and best friend.

“I brought you something to eat, the herbalist said you’d be needing it for strength to face what is to come.” She didn’t look sad or remorseful, if anything, she looked like she was mocking me.

What do you think you’re doing here?” I glared, my wolf blooping inside me, Tamara was there that morning, standing next to Hayden as they both watched with disgust, she didn’t try to defend Me, she believed it too, she believed I would cheat on a man I loved so much, it was strange because she was supposed to be my best friend.

“Still so stubborn…” she mumbled to herself, bringing her perfectly manicured fingers close to her face and inspecting them.

“I was with you the whole night before I told you I felt dizzy, I didn’t drink, I was sure of it, why wouldn’t you explain to me what happened that night?” I screamed at her, I had no strength left in me to try to drag myself up. “You’re my best friend and sister, Tamara, you are the only one that can tell everyone the truth, please, Tamara, please believe me, I would never do that to Hayden.” More tears, fresh ones.

She looked at me like she felt more disgusted than ever before she rolled her eyes and snapped her fingers, surprise and hurt covered my expression when four guards came running into the room.

“Tamara… what are you—“ I got interrupted, she didn’t even act like I was there.

“Stop calling my name, it’s disgusting, the fact that I even knew you alone disgusts me.” She screamed to my face. “Why do you keep asking me where you went to that night? Am I your bodyguard?”

Hurt covered my vision, was I going to loose my best friend and my husband in the same day? “Fine, let’s say you didn’t see me that night, I’m your best friend Tam, you know I wouldn’t do such a thing, I love Hayden so freaking much, why would I have any intercourse with another?”

I needed someone to believe me, Hayden, Tamara, the moon goddess, anyone…

Tamara always had a solution to any problem I had, if there was anything I knew, it was that if I could convince her that it was a set up and I didn’t do it, then she’d talk to Hayden in a way he’d believe, he wouldn’t listen to me right now but he’d listen to her, that was for sure.

“Didn’t Hayden reject you already? Why haven’t you accepted it?” She glared at me before nodding in my direction, the guards surrounded me and grabbed me by my arm roughly, I stared at her in shock and hurt.

“You have no right to do this!” I felt like blood was rolling down my cheeks in place of tears and I couldn’t stop it. “What are you doing, Tamara?”

“The alpha had ordered for you to be captured and for your babies to be killed, it’s lights off for you, Belladonna,” her lips went up in a smirk,”The whole of Moonlight pack knows about your affair with another man, you have brought shame into this pack with those bastards in your womb.”

“No, Tamara, I swear it, the triplets are his, I would never do this to—“

“Do not worry, Bella, You have been replaced, we found a way to clear the bad omen you put on our pack, Hayden had chosen me as his new Luna to replace you, It would be official tonight, in his chambers.”

My eyes widened as I stared at her, my heart beating in my chest as hard hands dragged me up by holding my two arms roughly but they didn’t hurt as much as the fact that my sister and best friend was infront of me saying she was more than happy to take my position. “How dare you!” I screamed, my throat bobbed hardly, “why would you do something like this to me?”

She didn’t respond, she just smirked as the guards dragged me away, not minding the bump in my stomach, not minding my babies, Hayden’s babies.

Minutes later, I was dragged into another room, my screams filled the building and I knew they heard, I knew Hayden heard, his chambers wasn’t too far from this one, he just didn’t care. I was dropped on the bed by the men and Tamara walked in, a ring on her finger, My ring that had been in my room, my eyes soaked up, I knew she has thought I betrayed my husband but did she really need to take it to this level? It was as though she was happy about the recent turn of events.

“Tie both her hands to the bed side and make sure they are tight enough.” She ordered and walked to the other side of the room, the guards who were still holding onto me took the hard ropes and began tying it over my wrists, three women came in with syringes and some other medical things as they approached me.

“Who… who are you guys, what do you think you’re doing?” I glared, fear evident in my voice, the guards still held me in place although they had tied my hand already to the bed stand

“We are going to remove the babies from you, Luna Belladonna, please stay still so there will not be any complica—“

Tamara chirped in before I could utter any word. “She’s not a Luna anymore, do not assign such a blessed and holy title to a filthy woman like her, remove the bastards now, the alpha commands it.”

I shook my head profusely, my eyes were now stinging from too much crying and my throat hurt. “Please, I don’t want to do This… please… Tamara please, these are Hayden’s babies, please believe me.” I cried and Tamara looked like a tornado that was about to explode as she glared at the three women that stood over me.

“What are three of you waiting for? Go on with it.” She screeched at them and they instantly faced me, the one in the middle grabbed my leg and pulled my gown up before placing the syringe inside me, I kept shouting and begging, it fell on deaf ears, the pin piercing my skin, my vision blurred and the last thing I saw was the yellow liquid inside the syringe bottle.
