Davina’s POV
“Death already did? What does that even mean?” I asked but Aiden already walked away and didn’t even bother to answer to look back.
“What did I do this time” I asked myself confused. “Could it be that she’s dead?, is that why he threw such tantrum the other day?”.
I picked my phone to Google about him, I promised myself that I’d never Google about him cause I only want to know the real him not what bloggers paint him to be but I just had to cause I’m too curious and I know very well that He’d never tell me what happened. I searched about his love life and read the heartbreaking news of how his fiancée died 2 years ago in an auto crash a night before their wedding and he was the one driving, many people trolled him online, blaming him for the accident, saying he was driving while drunk. There were so many hurtful things said about it, I was literally crying while reading all the comments. “This has to be the reason for his hostile behavior. I feel like I’ve opened up Aiden’s healing wound and I feel bad cause I didn’t know what to do to make him feel better. I just remembered that Aiden said he likes me, the thought of it automatically brought smile to my face, I got up and went to fix dinner cause I was starting to get hungry.
I made beef taco cause Alicia told me that it is one of Aiden’s favorite food., after cooking, I had to dial Aiden’s number cause I didn’t want to incur his wrath by going upstairs.
“Good evening Sir Aiden” I greeted immediately he answered the call.
“Good evening Davina, any problem?”
“No sir, I called to tell you that dinner is ready” “Oh, okay I’ll be down in ten minutes”
“Okay sir” I said and hung up. I set the table and waited for Aiden to come down.
“Come eat with me” Aiden said pushing a chair out for me to sit.
“I’ll eat in the kitchen Sir”
“No, I want to eat with you” After a little hesitation I finally agreed
“Let me go get my food”
“Okay, I’m waiting” We sat and ate in silence, after dinner I tried to clear the table but Aiden won’t let me.
“Sir Aiden you shouldn’t be doing this” I said as I followed him into the kitchen, he put the dirty dishes into the kitchen sink and turned to look at me and kissed me hardly
“Is this what I should be doing?” he asked with an evil grin on his face. I couldn’t even answer him cause of how shy I was. He lifted me up and placed me on the counter and kissed me again,
“My cute Davina, do you know your lips are so addictive?”
“Why do you keep asking me questions that you know that I can’t answer?”
“Probably cause I like seeing you blush” he answered as he turned to wash the dishes.
“So what’s your plan after school?”
“Well, nothing for now, I’ve being sending my credentials to different companies for my internship program but they all said they don’t have an open slot for interns”
“What of my company? Did you apply there?”
“I did, but I got the same feedback”
“Why didn’t you tell about it?”
“Nothing sir” “Sir?”
“I’m sorry Aiden” I said blushing
“What course did you even study?”
“Accounting”
“Nice, I can get you spot in my company and as a full time staff not as an intern, that’s if you don’t mind”
“Aiden thank you very much” I said as I got down from the countertop to hug him from behind”
“It’s nothing baby girl”
“It is Aiden, you’ve saved my ass again”
“Have I saved you before?” He asked turning to look at me.
“Yes Aiden, first was saving me from dropping out of school now you’re saving me from being unemployed, Aiden I really appreciate this kind gesture, how could I ever repay you”
“Don’t ever leave my side”
“Huh?”
“That’s the only p*****t I need, I need you to assure me that you’ll always be here with me” “Aiden!!”
“I’m being honest and very serious now, that’s all I need baby girl”
“Okay Aiden”
“Okay? For real?”
“Yeah, so far you don’t act the way did the last time again”
“I promise I won’t” he said as he kissed me so passionately, all I did was welcome him in.
It seemed like a dream come through, who knew that Aiden the Prince Charming will fall for a maid like me.
“Aiden can I ask you a question?”
“Yeah, sure, what is the problem?”
“Why won’t you allow me touch you”
“Do you have a problem with that?”
“Yes, I do”
“Why?”
“I hate the fact that I can’t feel you, I have absolutely no idea of what you look without your shirt on, I want to feel your body on mine” I said trying so hard to avoid eye contact.
“Honestly I wish I can tell you”
“Talk to me Aiden”
“Baby girl just be patient with me, I promise soon you’ll have me all to yourself”
“Okay, if you insist” I added sounding obviously disappointed and not satisfied with his reply. “You look like you have more questions to ask”I added.
“Well, yeah, but maybe some other time”
“Why not now”
“It’s nothing baby girl”
“I think It is, ask me anything, I promise to answer you honestly”
“Okay, will you go with me to my family dinner this weekend?”
“Aiden I don’t think I’m ready to meet your family”
“I know, I’m also not ready, I feel like I’d be more comfortable if you’re there with me”
“How is that even possible, they’re your family”
“I know but this would be first time in two years that I’d be seeing them all at once”
“Why?”
“Well, after my fiancée died, I avoided them for personal reasons”
“Okay, I still don’t think I can go with you, I’m sorry”
“Why can’t you?”
“I already said that I’m not ready for all that attention”
“You’ve met Alicia and she likes you and you have also gave me so at least you have someone with you”
“I know Aiden, please give me time to think about it”
“Okay babe, take your time”
“Okay I will”
“Aiden I’m already feeling sleepy, today was really a stressful day for me”
“Okay, no problem, let me take you to your room”
“It’s not necessary”
“It is, just allow me”
“Okay”
Aiden led me to my room and put me bed, “Good night sunshine”
“Good night Aiden” He pecked my lips and forehead, turned off my light and left my room.
“This day has to be my best day ever” I said to myself and dozed off.
