Two months and her grandmother hasn't waken up yet, Vivian tended to her day and night as she message her body, wipe her down, fixed her hair, gave her ice chips she was so tired that her body began to ache as well.

"Hey grandma it's me Vi your girl. My birthday is in a few day" Vivian said

She smoothed her hair out of her way as she, looked at her grandma with tears in her eyes she placed a soft kiss on her head as she lean back in the chair, she didn't know she doze off till she felt someone place a blanket on her, Vivian open her eyes and saw her grandmother smiling at her.

"Grandma" Vivian said

Her grandma smiled at her.

"Hello kiddo" her grandma said

Vivian hugged her as she cried.

"Don't scare me like that" Vivian said

"I'm sorry kiddo" her grandma said

"I missed you so much" Vivian said

"And I missed you too kiddo" She said

She place a kiss on her head, as they laid back on the bed as her grandmother creased her head, they talked for a whole hour about her life in the pack and Cyrus and the argument they had before she left.

"Alpha's tsk I swear they are fools sometime" her grandma said

"I love you grandma" Vivian said

"I love you too, it's me and you against the world kiddo" her grandma said

Vivian smiled as she hugged her grandma again.

"Now why don't you go freshen up at home you kind of smell like the hospital and come back with some food" her grandma said

"Okay, and I'll make your favorite" Vivian said

She looked at her grandma as she smiled, her grandma took her face in her hands as she placed a kiss on her.

"Love you kiddo" she said

"Love you too, I'll be back" Vivian said

Vivian got up from the bed as she smiled all the way home, she went into her old room she missed this place she grab some clothes and went into the shower when finished getting ready she went to make her grandma her lasagna with French bread and salad.

"She's going to love this" Vivian said smiling to herself

She put the food in a container as she skip out of the house happy, she walked into the clinic as the patients were in rooms and the place was clean, she saw Dax by her grandmas door talking with the doctor she waved at him smiling, Dax left the doctor and came to her.

"Hey did you see her? I brought her, her favorite food" Vivian said

"Vi" Dax said sighing out

"What?" Vivian asked

Vivian began to worry when she looked into her grandma's room the food drop as she saw the doctor place the sheet over her body, Vivian shook her head.

"Vi" Dax said

Vivian screamed out and cried as she moved forward but Dax held onto her, she cried in the hallway, she soon fainted.

"Vi!" Dax said worried

He picked her up.

"Doctor" Dax yelled.

Vivian woke up, she was looking around remembering where she was at till it all came back to her, she was about to get up when hands press her down.

"Vi" Dax said

Vivian looked up at Dax as tears gathered.

"She was okay, she was smiling and talking" Vivian sob out

"Doctor said it was an internal bleeding in the brain" Dax said

Vivian laid back down as she looked at the ceiling.

"Vi, you been out for five days" Dax said

Vivian frowned as she slowly sat up.

"What?" Vivian asked

"Yeah, I placed her by your parents so when your ready for a visit" Dax said

Vivian nodded her head at him as she was ready to get up but stop her.

"Vi, there's something else too. When the Doc check you he found that your pregnant" Dax said

"W-what?" Vivian said

"He doesn't know how far along you are so they want to check you" Dax said

Vivian was in shocked as she lean back.

"I'll give you time and go get the doctor" Dax said

Vivian nodded her head in a daze as she place her hand on her stomach, now she knew why her emotions were all over the place, she was pregnant for her mate, she sigh out and closed her eyes, she was still a bit tired but couldn't sleep her mind was in a mess the doctor knocked on the door and came in.

"Hello Vivian" he said

"Hello" Vivian said

"Okay so were going to see how far along you are" he said

"Okay" Vivian said

He set up the machine and went towards her lifting her surgical dressing.

"Okay the gel will feel a little cold" he said

Vivian nodded her head as he place it on her, then began check.

"Huh" he said

"What is it?" Vivian said

"By any chance your mated to a higher ranking?" he said

"Yes, my mate is an alpha" Vivian said

"Okay, well you know the higher ranks babies grow faster then normal ranks, I'd say you'll be giving birth in about another month and half so the puts you around three and half months" the doctor said

"Okay" Vivian said

"Now, you may not see it now but your belly will be growing soon" he said

"Thank you" Vivian said

The doctor nodded his head, Vivian cleaned up the gel as she laid back, she had a smile on her face as she touched her stomach, she sigh out, she didn't even have Cyrus number, truth be told she didn't know much other than the fact he likes his steaks medium-well and when he thinks at times he always has a frown. Vivian yawned out as she laid down the doors open she saw Dax coming in.

"Hey how are you" Dax asked

"Still a little tired" Vivian said yawning out

"Get some sleep, I'll watch over you" Dax said

Vivian nodded her head as she pulled the blanket up to her chin and closed her eyes then next moment she fell asleep.
