36 Limerick

Blaze heard his wife on the radio show. He could hear the strain in her voice with that last caller.

He was almost to County Cork. His driver, Johnny was very slow. But he was truly enjoying himself on the drive. He got to meet so many nice people.

They were stopping in at a famous pub in Cork city, Paladar. Johnny put on his coat jacket. He told Blaze to dress a little fancier.

Blaze put on his suit. They walked into the pub arm in arm. Johnny sat down at the bar and ordered a rich ale. Blaze smiled as he got a foam mustache from the head of the drink. Johnny licked his off.

Blaze sighed. " Ah, this is nice. I have been through hell and back in South America. I need this little break."

Johnny smiled, he ordered another. They were 4 pints in when a group of people came in all chattering. Blaze heard them laughing. He smiled as they looked so happy.

" Why do Americans think they can come to our country and have a radio show. It's so dumb. That girl Finn, what a phoney she is, ain't she?"

Blaze stood up to defend his country and his wife. He sat back down very hard. He was fired up."Johnny friend, help me up, I need to fight those blokes who are talking bad about my wife."

Johnny nodded." Aye, let's go kick there arse."

They made their way over to the loud table. They were all drunk as well. Blaze pointed his finger."Don't be talking bad about MY WIFE!" He cried.

They all laughed at him. "Get lost, we weren't talking about anyone you know." They all laughed.

" Yes ya were, ya were talking about Finny!" Yelled Johnny McCain.

A very tall man with a strong build stood up. " We said, get lost!"

Blaze threw back his fist and socked him in the gut. The man laughed. He turned to the rest of the table. " He's like a fly, buzzin me head." He ounched Blaze in the face. The man threw back his head, then his eyes got wide.

Johnny hit him over the head with a heavy beer mug. The man sank to the ground.

His brother, even bigger than the first, picked up the fighting boys. He grabbed them both and clinked their heads together.

Blaze and Johnny fell to the floor. " Don't git up!" He yelled.

Blaze got up. He punched the guy in the face. The man picked up Blaze and threw him out the door. He grabbed Johnny's neck and shoved him out the door.

Everyone started cheering.

Blaze and Johnny gave up the fight. Blaze had a black eye and was nursing a sore shoulder. Johnny didn't feel a thing,he was a young man.

The two men got a room and slept through the night.

Sera....

Sera and the group headed to Limerick. They were happy to be back on the road. The fun part about Ireland was the road trips.

Sera looked out the window and sighed. She felt connected to the beauty of the landscape.

Diane asked Sera if she would come with them to meet their father. Sera nodded." Sure."

They followed the road to a large house. It was well manicured with a rose garden and a circular driveway.

Landen rang the security gate for entrance.

" Hello, Landen Shanesy looking for Jeremiah McCallum."

The gate swung open. A tall, pretty woman with an apron on met them at the door. "Did you say Landen Shanesy?"

He nodded and put his hand out. She hugged him. "I'm Meagan, Jeremiah McCallum is my uncle. I love your radio program."

Landen smiled. Diane looked shyly around the large home.

"I'm Finny, nice to meet you." Sera said.

" Hold on, let me get my uncle." She said.

A tall man with red hair and a beard came out from the kitchen. He was adorable, thought Diane.

Landen shook his firm hand.

" Can we talk for a moment sir?"

He motioned to a wooden table.

He nodded. " Please come in."

They sat at the table as Meagan poured them some coffee. Sera thanked her.

" Sir, my name is Landen Shanesy. This is my sister Diane. Her family calls her Annie. She was raised by her grandmother Jessie Smith. Sir, we believe"....

He stopped. "Diane show him your locket that your grandma Jessie left you."

Diane took off her locket. She handed it to Jeremiah.

Jeremiah put on his glasses. He smiled. That looks like Laney."

He looked at Diane. He opened his mouth, then shut it.

She nodded. " I think I am yours and my mother Laney's daughter. Landen here is my biological brother. His mother's name is Mary Ellis. He goes by Landen Shanesy."

Jeremiah said,"I'll be darned. You two are my kids?"

Landen took out the genealogy papers and showed him the proof.

He stood up and walked in front of them. He hugged them both. They all started crying. Sera stood up to give them some room to catch up.

Meagan took her onto the kitchen and offered her a sandwich. She accepted. They talked about the radio show and the recent calls that she had taken bringing up her psychic abilities.

Meagan told her that she had felt some abilities herself. She said that she had felt an unusual pull when she heard Landen and Diane on the radio.

Sera accepted a glass of wine. Meagan and Sera laughed over stories Sera told her about Diane and Landen.

Meagan showed her to a large bedroom. "Why don't you three stay with us while you are here?"

Sera agreed. " You are so kind."

They continued to talk and drink. Meagan sat close to Sera. She touched her pink hair. "Could you do this to my hair?"

Sera nodded. "Let's go shopping."

Meagan pulled the car around. Sera told the others that they were heading to town. Meagan hadn't consumed as much as Sera.

They drove to town. Sera picked out the color that she had used on her hair. Meagan asked her if she could cut her hair too. Sera laughed. "That would be a big mistake. I'm quite tipsy."

Meagan laughed. "Come in let's go to my house, we can do my hair there."

When Meagan drove them back, she turned down another road and pulled into a cute yellow house. " This is my house. I take care of my uncle during the day."

Sera smiled. "This is lovely."

Meagan set up the sink. She pulled the cork out of a fresh bottle of wine. She poured Sera another glass. They laughed and joked. Sera did Meagan's hair.

After about 45 minutes Sera did the final rinse. Meagan loved it.

Sera had finished her wine. She needed to lay down. Meagan took her to her bed. She sat down next to Sera. She thanked her and kissed her on the cheek.

" I don't have a lot of friends here." She touched Sera's hand.

Sera ran her fingers through Meagan's new pink hair. "I love it!"

Meagan leaned down and kissed Sera fully on her lips. She put her tongue in Sera's mouth.

Sera was so shocked. She pulled back and looked at Meagan's green eyes.

" You are very beautiful. But I am married. I have a husband somewhere here in Ireland." She said.

Meagan giggled. "He's very lucky."

Sera was so tired from all the wine, she spent the night there with Meagan in her bed.

In the morning, a car pulled up to Meagan's house. "Think this is it? Let's knock on the door." Diane said.

Landen knocked loudly. Meagan yelled," Come in!"

She was lying in bed with Sera. Her arm was draped over her stomach. She was naked.

Sera was fully clothed. She yawned and stretched as Diane and Landen entered.

She smiled." Where am I?"

She saw Meagan lying next to her nude. She threw the blanket on her. "Uh, did we?"

Meagan shook her head."No, you are married dear."

Landen pulled Sera out of Meagan's bed. "Girl, you didn't come home last night."

Sera held her head. " Ah....my head hurts. I need coffee."

Diane took her by the shoulder. "Come on, we are late for the show."

When the show started, Landen gave his opening lines. He introduced Diane. When it came to Finny's turn he said,"Poor Finny has a hangover. Me and Diane had to pull her out of bed this morning."

Diane laughed,"It wasn't even her own bed. She was, let's say with our very naked cousin."

Landen laughed. Sera groaned.

The phone line lit up. "Ah, we have a caller." Landen took the call.

" Put my wife on the phone, now!" said a very angry Blaze.

She said," Hello there, Jason."

He said,"Are you kidding me, you're sleeping with Landen's cousin? We are still married."

Sera said," I missed you too hubby." sarcastically.

Blaze yelled at her. "Stay where you are I'm coming, don't move!"

Sera sighed. "She was naked, I had my clothes on. I was drinking a little itty bit. She said we didn't do anything. I did tell her that I was married."

Blaze laughed now. "I want you in my bed, naked. Don't you miss me sweetie?"

She sighed again."I guess we should talk. I am here in Limerick for a week or so."

Blaze told her he was coming.

She hung up. Diane and Landen both said," Ahhh."

The listeners had heard the whole thing. Sera turned red and got up and went to get more coffee.
