Kit woke up in the middle of the night because of the dream he's been having about an unknown kingdom getting destroyed countless times. He'd been recalling what was it, or is it connected to the device he picked up.
"What was that..." Kit asked himself, he stood up and opened the window of his room, the moon was shining on the sky with the twinkling stars besides it. The area where he lives in was quiet and the lights are off. The only light you'll see is the Castle on the center of the kingdom.
"I passed the exam, and my duties as a knight will begin tomorrow." He said to himself, he forms his right hand into a knuckle and gripped it hard.
"I'll do my best!" He said to himself and went back to bed to get ready for tomorrow.

In the knight's headquarters, Cromwell was sitting on his chair while looking outside the window, he's been thinking a lot these days.
"Did you just pass three disqualified trainees?" An unknown man walked inside his office and asked him, he's standing by the door, waiting for Cromwell to answer.
"I did, I saw something interesting on a lad, he's called weak but he's something else. He has something that no one didn't have these days." Cromwell said while still looking out the window, he's been thinking about the thing he saw in Kit.
"Oh? And tell me what exactly did you see?" The unknown man answered back, curious of what Cromwell said, that piqued his interest and decided to sit on a chair
"A brave heart. The knights now are a bunch of wusses who only think of themselves. Some are actually strong but doesn't care about their comrades." Cromwell said, he smiled a bit talking about someone who actually had what he's looking for.
"Is this related to your previous comrade?" The unknown man asked, he sat on a chair in front of the desk, Cromwell faced the unknown man
"In a way, he's like him." Cromwell replied, he was smiling and actually delighted
"Take care of him then." The unknown man got up and walked towards the door, he turns the doorknob and looks at Cromwell.
"Good talking to you, Captain, pleasant evening to you." The unknown man said and left, closing the door on his way out.
"Pleasant evening to you too, your highness." Cromwell said, feeling tired, he stood up to his chair and walked towards his bedchambers.

The morning sun shined on the window which shined on Kit's face, the sunshine woke up Kit and he stood up from his bed and stretched his body while yawning.
It was his big day, he'll be known as a knight and get his duties, he washed his face and put on his equipment which was a leather armor.
He got out of his small house and ran straight to Roger's store, he opened the door and saw Roger at the counter as usual.
"Yo kid, I know you didn't pass the exam. That's okay." Roger who was sure Kit wasn't cut up for the knight business said that
"You can work here at my store-" Before he could finish, Kit was in front of the counter and was excited and overjoyed
"I got accepted!" Kit said with a smile and sparkling eyes, this is the first time he felt happy in a long time.
"You... got accepted? There must be some kind of mistake, right?" Roger, who was still not believing it was dumbfounded and a little surprised.
"The captain said we passed." Kit continued, since Cromwell said so, then there's no problem.
"What an extraordinary kid you are, haha! Never thought you'd be accepted! Good for you! Here take this" Roger said with a happy expression and gave him a silver colored ring
"A... ring?" Kit was still dumbfounded what that ring was supposed to mean, but he took it and wore it on his right hand's ring finger.
"That's a magic item, that ring will give you a shield when the time has come. Wear it anywhere." Roger said and talked about a few things with Kit. In the end, Kit left with a full stomach. Satisfied, Kit made his way to the headquarters.
It's a long way to the headquarters because It's located near the castle, Kit's house is at the commoners district, which was far away from the castle, he was escorted by a carriage when he came back from the headquarters.

"Lance! Wake up!" Lance was still asleep when his grandmother woke him up
Lance woke up and stood up, he pondered what time it is,
"You're going to be late! Hurry up, get the maid to get you ready, and breakfast is ready downstairs." His grandmother said, he got up and washed his face, put on clothes which was provided by the maids of the house
He got down from his room and made is way to the dining room which was fancy and everything is expensive, even the table cloth.
The breakfast was his grandmother's specialty and is Lance's favorite. Pancakes! Lance was so hungry that he devoured the pancakes his grandmother, he's full and got ready to set out. He put on his equipment and put his sword on his belt that has a leather support for swords.

Kit arrived at the headquarters and saw a lot of knights in formation in the training grounds, and saw Grant within them,, his strong body is too obvious and he easily stands out from the rest of the knights. Among the knights were Earnest who was, last time injured so bad but seems like to be okay and well now..
"Where's Lance?" Kit didn't even see Lance from the formation
"He's late again, isn't he..." Kit said to himself and assembled on the formation like the others, the upper knights were overseeing the whole formation.
And that Cromwell appeared before them. with his stoic appearance and you can feel fear from just being stared by him.
"Alright lads! Today we'll begin our duties!" While Cromwell was explaining, something was happening to Kit.
His vision is getting blurry and a small box appeared in front of him.

"Eh?" Kit said with a dumbfounded look in his face.
