Lilu and her friends bolted from the front of the Inn. Before those burly human obstructions brains caught up to what had happened, they were all out of sight, and their Master lay curled in the fetal position on the floor with a face of stark white.

The well proportioned girl with hair the color of gold stopped to catch her breath on the outside of a building. She looked around seeing no one following her, but also not seeing any of her friends. Having this brief moment alone, Pamela's voice inside her speaks "We should claim our mission rewards!".

When Lilus thoughts agreed with Pamela the window was automatically opened. A cute girls voice silts in "Congrats Sis! you have finished 2 missions! here are the rewards". Alice did not ask for further confirmation as the intent by both of their consciousness was the same, to claim the rewards.

Another panel opens in her view with a small list on it.

Followed by Alice cute voice "And wow you even leveled up!" then on a prompt from Pamela's thinking Alice brings open her status panel.

Pamela says in a happy voice "We should assign some stat points, we are a little squishy" after going over the information.

Lilu finally has a moment to process all that has happened taking a deep breath as she comes to grips with the extra set of voices in her head. If she had not just felt the power of that kick, she would have thought she went crazy.

Lilu's face shows one of surprise having just witnessed the status panel for her life, but she agrees with Pamela's thinking. Lilu was a little cautious with how she wanted to proceed, not sure what physical effects changing her stat points would have. She decided to put 2 points into constitution as that is what directly effects her health.

She then looks down at herself after closing all the panels. She feels a little change in her body but outwardly she cant sense much.

Lilu lets out a sigh at the same time Pamela thinks one. With a joint thought the status panel reopens and a smile brightens their face, 80 hp, Her hit points had doubled!

As they shared the same idea in that instant, Alice made the changes , 2 points in strength and another 2 points in constitution. This brought all her stats up to a minimum of 14. She did feel some changes in her body when she made these changes. Her muscles seem to feel more rigid and dense, and her body seems a little more defined. She noticed it even actually seemed to have rounded out in certain places. A brief glimpse of her status panel also showed she now had 120 hp.

Lilu was overjoyed seeing all of this new information and Pamela shared in this experience with her. They both then realized her friends were waving her over to a Diner down the block from the corner on which she was standing seemingly lost in thought for a brief moment.

With a new found spring in her step she found herself down the street and in front of the diner in what felt like only a few steps.

She moved carefully to open the door stepping inside. Emerald eyes peer through the dimly lit diner till she spies her friends gathered at a table in the rear. She saunters over to them and sits down crossing her knees in front of her as she leans back in the chair.

All of her friends faces are amazed as they stare at her. Finally Thistle speaks up and breaks the silence. "Thank you for stepping in, he made my skin crawl...." and then Rose her older sister also joins in "Wow I think his grand children will feel that kick..." and they all started busting out laughing aside from one solem blue haired face.

Lilu looks up to her friends and then with all seriousness in her sweet angelic voice "I dont think he will be having any grand kids, or kids.... I felt something pop....". Willow's face darkens even more and he says a silent prayer  that he never anger Lilu that way before speaking in a soft cracking voice "Where did that come from? I never expected You to jump in.... No offense...."

Even Macky added "Yeah wow Lilu, what got into you?"

Lilu thought quickly, Pamela helping with some ideas before they squeeked out "I...I... dont really know. I saw the way he was grabbing Thistle and I just acted! Maybe this is a new me?" and then she giggles softly.

All of them sit there stunned before going back to congratulating her for a job well done and sipping through a few flavored sodas.

Finally they got back to their original plan. Macky pulls out a small tube with a blue crystal on top of it the size of a pen tip. She grabs a little ring in the center of the body and pulls outwards expanding the screen. A few finger movements later their air ride was summoned. She released the ring and the screen zipped back up into the tube body and she put it back in her pocket.

Throughout the day Lilu and her friends had a blast. They stopped at this small amusement park and rode a few rides. Lilu actually managed to beat a few of the games Willow said were rigged.  They had a quick lunch at this small dive bar next to the river. Macky complained the food was too spicey. In the end they spent the most of their time in this giant outdoor shopping arcade.

The arcade was massive, it spanned easily 6 city blocks by 4 city blocks and had 20 levels on the inside. It was called North City Arcade. In truth the city was in the northern part of the continent, but it wasnt the farthest northern city. It actually stopped right below the giant mountain range called the North Meridian Wall that seem to shelter this city from the frigid icey climate just a few degrees higher. The mountains could actually be seen in the distance almost anywhere in the city.

Inside this shopping paradise you could find literally anything. It had groceries from all over the continent, electronics, clothing, recreational goods, restaurants and diners, a live theater, movie theater, holographic theater, livestock, magic trinkets, firearms, and there was even an adventurers guild here!

They all shopped and dined till the late hours of the night. They were happy that the mall had drone delivery service for all the items they purchased so they didn't have to carry anything with them. Finally they hopped the air ride back to the Inn. Watching the orange rays of the sun create a beautiful tapestry of color against the clouds and blue  fading to dark magenta. Purples and oranges and golds and turquoise blanketed the horizon at the edge of the mountains in the distance. They all sighed at the scenery before the air ride landed in front of the Inn.

Climbing out and making their way over to the front door with little conversations going between them only Lilu seems to notice that beyond the door in the lobby of the Inn that greasy slimey man is sitting in a wheel chair with almost 20 of those wall sized men behind him all in various colors and flavors. He grits his teeth grinding them in anticipation as they seem to be walking right into his trap. Lilu's friends almost open the door to the Inn but she stops them "Hey why don't we go get a drink? it isn't That late right? come onnnn its my birthday!" using her pleading voice as she grabs Mackys arm to illustrate her point tugging her towards the little Diner down the block. She glances through the glass doors seeing the slime balls seething expression as she stops them from entering.

Her friends in the end join her in going to the diner. Sitting down in the diner, Lilu seems a little lost in thought as she tries to find something that could help her in this situation. Pamela has joined her and their minds seem to work together towards the goal of solving the problem. At the same time they both think "The Inventory and store!". Alice cheerily chimes in "Yes! you can absolutely find something in there to help you! Here lets start with your current inventory." and she brings up the inventory panel.

Following the panels list display Alice cute voice speaks "You should use the Soul Assist Upgrade! it will allow me to display more information for you and also unlock a couple of new functions!" following her voice they both agree that should be first. And with a thought the item disapeers and a message panel pops up.

Target: Allows you to target a specific person, place, or thing in your world with the system. Combat Uses allowed. "

Alice giggled happily in Lilu's ears. Next they agreed they should probably use the item and spell tickets though Alice advised that the spell construction ticket should be saved. In total she had managed to get a small silver ring with the shape of a fox engraved into the band that gave a +2 to both dexterity and wisdom, and a Silver chained pendant with a glowing red stone in the shape of a heart at its center.

This was a growing greater pendant of regeneration. It allowed the owner to absorb damage using some of the essence in the stone till the essence was gone. If this was a lesser pendant then at that point it would shatter and become useless, but as this is a greater pendant it would continually refill at a slow rate. It is also a growth item, meaning its power will grow with Lilu's.

Finally the spell, She had received the greater spell "Quicken". It allowed the caster to increase their speed and agility for a duration of time dependent on how much mana was spent.

Lilu smiled outwardly with her new found gifts. She now had a plan brewing in her devilish little head. Her friends seem to stop talking as they looked at her with this eerie smile. Rose asked first "Lilu are you ok? whats with that smile on your face? its kind of creepy..."

Lilu caught herself and then explained to her friends what she saw when they were about to walk into the Inn, and her plan for how they were going to deal with the wall of muscles blocking their way, assuming they were still there when they returned. She did leave out a few details though, like about the spells she would use, A girl has to have her surprises right? After a bit of convincing, they all agreed and paid their tab leaving the diner for the front of the Inn.
