We got into the limo.
“Let’s mate tonight,” Grayson suggested.
His words made me smile. “Really? Are you sure? I didn’t blame you for not wanting to mate. I was just afraid it had something to do with me or how you felt about me.
The limo driver pulled off.
“It had nothing to do with either or those things,” he assured me. “I just needed to be comfortable with myself. I’m an open book to you now my love. Ask me anything.”
Those were the three words I have been wanting to hear from him.
“Do you consider Zake and Cane childhood friends?” I asked.
I was now able to get to know him through things and not others.
