Chapter 3-Birthday Party but not for me

We arrive back to the packhouse whilst everyone is wishing Ruby her 22nd birthday, whilst I'm being ignored on my own actual birthday. I see Cade and Rory laughing and looking back at me, which makes me wonder if they will acknowledge my birthday?
"Happy birthday Ruby"! everyone shouts at the top of their lungs one more time. My legs had made my mind up for me and I ran to the packhouse bathroom. As soon as I'm alone, I burst out into tears but quickly stopped as I hear a bunch of giggling girls walking into where I just want to be alone.
"Oh my God, Ruby. You're so lucky to have Chase to buy you these expensive clothes, jewelry and more". I hear a girl saying, Ruby's also here, Goddess please help me.
*How dare they use Chase to get what they want* Laika growled suddenly, I guess us seeing Cade made her tune in to her surroundings.
**Yeah**. I could only say but I couldn't do anything about them using my big brother for his money.
*We should warn him*! Laika growled out, which I agreed. Before I knew it, I had already left the bathroom stall to go and find my brother.
"Oh, Nicky, what a surprise"? Ruby says, looking surprised.
"First of all it's Nyx, and second of all, how dare you use my brother for money"! I say furiously at Ruby but this only makes her shriek with laughter with her friends.
"He won't believe you". One of Ruby's friends tells me, still laughing while she speaks.
My blood boils when they say my own brother won't believe me.
"He will believe me, then he'll know what a dirty gold digger of a b***h you are to him"! I shouted back, letting my temper take control of my emotions and voice.
"Go ahead, be my guest Nicky". Ruby replied calling me Nicky again and laughing with her girls.
I rushed out of the bathroom to find Chase and tell him what a b***h he was dating. When I found him, I didn't hold back and grabbed his arm. What I didn't realize was that Ruby and her friends had followed me out and Ruby was now in tears. What the hell is she playing at?
"Baby, what's wrong"? Chase asks his crying girlfriend, who has a red mark on her face.
"Your sister, Nyx". she started sobbing through her tears and now everyone was watching what was happening in the packhouse.
"What did she do"? my brother asked her, trying to comfort her.
Both of my parents and hers entered the phrase.
"She called me a slut and a gold digger"! Ruby shouted out, hugging my brother as if he was her bodyguard.
Chase turns around, immediately glaring at me with his already scarlet eyes. He walks over to me but instead of saying my sister wouldn't lie about that, I felt a burning sensation across my cheek.
"You b***h, how f*****g dare you hurt my Ruby and call her those things. You're a slut, you good for nothing piece of dump"! he shouts at me, making tears roll down my face.
"I wish you had never born, you should've died when we found out you were an omega, but I never knew you could be so heartless"!
Now everyone is gossiping to each other or even giving me bad looks. My parents look at me the same way but they also take turns in supporting Ruby and Chase, whilst I get called a bad child and a good for nothing brat.
Before I knew it, Laika had taken control of my body. My bones were snapping out of place and I was in pain, but I didn't care, I was already in pain. After Laika had shifted me into her form, I just let her take conrol.
*"You're the good for nothing people. Do you think we wanted to be born? Every night, Nyx prays to my mother that one day you'll all go back to the loving way, but clearly that won't happen"*! She howls at them aggressively. My mother is shocked by what Laika has said and so is everyone else.
*"How the hell am I not a rogue yet? I don't know, but honestly, if nothing changes, we will leave you, big time. You're killing us*" Laika tells my parents, as well as the pack with a wine in her voice, but I don't care anymore. I've always had to keep her under wraps but now I'm just so tired.
