Ivy: The first breath I took back in my own realm felt like drowning. I gasped and coughed, yanking at the neck of my shirt. "Ivy, I got you baby. I'm here. Just breathe." Damon's lips were pressed against my ear. The chill of his skin eased the aching in my lungs. "We're all here, sweetheart." Riot's warmth kept me centered. "Got to go!" I panted, clawing at Ransome's muscled arm. "You aren't going anywhere." Damon wrapped both arms around me, pinning me into my bed. "She is, actually. Just not physically." I heard my grandmother's voice. The familiarity cleared my blurred vision. I sucked a shaky breath through my nose. I looked into her knowing eyes. "She has called on you, hasn't she?" she asked. The only thing I could afford her was a thumbs up over the top of Damon's shoulder.
