Over the next few days more and more students showed up and began the process of settling into life at school. There were uniforms to be fitted, classes assigned, school books to be picked up and beds to be made, and there were horses to be stabled, a lot of horses. With more horses than permanent stables, builders erected temporary ones.
On the last free day before classes started Wart returned and immediately found Wolf. "Wolf, good news, I've got permission to bring you home with me during Thanksgiving vacation."
"I thought it wasn't much fun at home," Wolf replied.
"It'll be a whole lot better with you there."
"What about Shadow? I can't leave him here, and you live in the city."
"I told my parents that you have a dog and they are all right with that."
"But, he's not a dog," Wolf
