After supper the pages retreated to their study rooms or the library to form study groups. Wolf turned Shadow loose outside to take care of his business.
Wolf and Wart walked into the library to go to their study room. Harold and George were delayed in the dining room. As soon as Wolf opened the door Wayne grabbed his tunic and pulled him in and slammed him into a wall, while one of the other two boys reached out and grabbed Wart, pulling him in. The door closed behind them and the fighting began in earnest.
