Lifting my head, I watched as Chris quickly ran into my office, his face flushed and his eyes wild.
"What is it?" I demanded, pushing aside the report I was trying to read when he interrupted. "It better be important for you to barge in like that."
Standing, I stretched before walking around my desk.
"SHE’S MISSING!" Chris shouted, his face turning pale.
"She?" I asked, lifting my brow. Who exactly was he referring to?
Suddenly, realization slammed into me, causing me to become instantly alert. "What do you mean she’s missing?"
"Emery just came to me in a panic. Apparently, Lady Aurora rushed off without saying a word. " Chris said quickly. "I searched the surrounding area to see if she maybe hadn’t gone far, but she was nowhere to be found."
"Useless! " I growled, surging
