Alpha of the Blood Moon Clan

She saved Kirra in 2012 from Miro. She had wanted to kill Miro and would have if that t**t hadn't escaped. She liked Kirra and took her under her wing. The poor soul was a scared little thing. As Kirra grew, Scarlet’s affection for her grew. Towards the end of the past century, she had been able to satisfy her urge to have partners. Homosexuality wasn’t frowned upon any more and Kirra’s innocence had appealed to her a lot. As their relationship blossomed both Kirra and Scarlet grew close to each other. On Kirra’s 17th birthday after a good training session, Scarlet gifted her a silver sword with a leather hilt and a leather scabbard. The girl totally loved it and hugged Scarlet. Their hug moved to a kiss and soon they lay on the forest floor pleasuring each other's body. After they were totally spent, Kirra continued to hug her. She was ecstatic but she did not say anything. She liked Kirra, but wasn’t in love with her. Besides she was a young naive girl who knew nothing about the world. Once she found her mate, she would forget Scarlet easily, but till then they were going to have a lot of fun. Kirra lay with her head on Scarlet’s lap admiring her sword. “This is beautiful. Why didn’t you buy one for yourself?” Scarlet looked into the curious grey eyes of her lover, “I have babes. Mine is more of an antique. I will show it to you once I have finished sharpening and polishing it. I will show it to you.” Kirra raised her eyebrows, “Antique? Wow! Where is it from?” She smiled, “Scotland.” With a distant look in her eyes she continued, “do you remember my recent trip to Great Britain?” Kirra nodded. She continued, “I bought a sword from one of their antique stores. It has …” A man’s voice reached them, “KIRRA! KIRRA! WHERE THE f**k ARE YOU?” “I hate him. Why can’t I kill him, babes?” Scarlet grumbled. Kirra laughed cheerfully, “He doesn’t scare me anymore. You go now. Complete your story later. Call me when we can meet next.” She got up and kissed Scarlet. Their tongues, exploring and tasting each other. Scarlet caught the scent of the warrior from Kirra’s pack. He was the same person who had abused Kirra in her childhood. Miro had attempted to force himself on Kirra. Even today, when Scarlet remembered that day, she felt her blood boil in anger.  But Kirra wanted the bastard safe, so Scarlet hastily left. Scarlet got busy with her conservation work with the government and was able to meet Kirra only a few times. They had made the most of it, both for their relationship and for Kirra’s fight training. **** On New Year’s eve, 2017, they were enjoying some intimate moments together, with Kirra’s fingers deep inside her while she had her face between Kirra’s legs lapping up her juices, when she smelled the rogues. They had just about managed to get their clothes sorted when the rogue wolves attacked. More than 50 wolves surrounded them. “Kirra, turn around, kick his ass,” she yelled as a rogue tried to attack Kirra from behind. The girl always left her back unguarded, she thought, as she fiercely fought with the wolves around her. Kirra twirled gracefully and landed a back kick on the attacker’s jaw. He was knocked out by her strength. 5 more rogues circled around Kirra while Scarlet fought at a distance with a dozen more. Kirra pulled her sword out from the scabbard hanging at her waist. Who would have sent 50 wolves to kill 1 she-wolf, thought Scarlet, but she had to concentrate on the wolves who had surrounded her. She used her speed to punch one wolf after the other, either breaking their jaw or knocking them out. The knockout rings on her fingers were dipped in wolfsbane and helped her incapacitate the wolves. It was a shame that Kirra couldn’t use the same. Kirra fought with her silver sword. Training from Scarlet had made her a strong fighter even in her human form. The leather hilt of the silver sword sat snuggly in her hands giving her a good grip. Every wolf she struck either dropped dead or lost a body part. Scarlet was very angry. The bloody motherfuckers had attacked them when they were enjoying some alone time together. She was going to kill each one of them for this. They kept coming, but for Scarlet, who did not tire, each attack was like a fresh start.  The 2 women fought valiantly. The student and teacher knew each other’s fighting techniques. Their synchronised moves were like the dance of death. Scarlet was fighting with 2 rogues. She kicked one and broke his neck. She turned around to tear the other one’s jaw when Kirra looked at her. A third rogue was trying to attack her from behind. Kirra killed the one in front of her and ran towards the fighting Scarlet. The wolf behind Scarlet pounced on her. Kirra realised that he was going to land on her shoulders. He could have easily ripped her head off but Kirra launched herself between them and drove her sword into his chest. He was the commanding wolf. Seeing him die, the others retreated. Scarlet turned around to see Kirra covered in blood, smiling in triumph with the bloodied sword glinting in her hand. They closed the distance between them and kissed. Their tongues teased each other. Kirra let her sword fall on the forest floor snaking her hands around Scarlet. They could smell blood on each other, but that just made their passionate embrace a lot more calming and satisfying. “You saved me, my big bad wolf!” she marvelled at her pet, the same young girl who was defenceless in this same forest, 3 years back. Her crystal grey eyes looked beautiful. “I can’t lose you,” said Kirra and continued kissing her again. Letting Scarlet’s tongue dip into her mouth, exploring her and demanding her submission.  In the last 3 years, Scarlet had trained her to be a fighting machine. Their regular sessions had gotten harder and harder until Kirra could easily take on an army of wolves and still emerge victoriously. Their bonding had blossomed into love. But they hadn’t spoken the ‘L’ word yet. They were both waiting for Kirra to turn 18. They both knew that Kirra had to find the mate that the moon Goddess had chosen for her in order to become the strongest. Kirra wasn't interested in her mate. She was too involved with Scarlet, but Scarlet wanted her to lead Waru’s pack. The only way to do that was to become the strongest Alpha. Only her mate could make her that. They were lost in each other’s embrace when they heard someone clear his throat. She caught a werewolf’s scent and growled in resentment. “I knew you weren’t interested in men,” said Alpha Waru looking bored. His Beta Koen stood behind him, next in command.  Kirra scowled at him. She did not like his tone. “Careful! Insolence is not tolerated,” bellowed Beta Koen. Scarlet snarled and took a defensive position in front of Kirra.  “How cute,” chuckled Waru. It sounded out of place coming from his savage face. “Kirra, daughter of Jiemba and Grace, I declare you the future Alpha of the Blood Moon clan. You have passed your test today. On 21st Jan you turn eighteen and that’s when the transfer of power will happen.” Scarlet and Kirra looked at him, too astonished to react.  He turned to Scarlet, “I want you to travel to all the packs of Werewolves and invite every Alpha personally. This event is happening after decades and you will make sure that it is a day to remember.” “I don’t take orders from you.” Scarlet barked. “But I will do this for Kirra.” They had walked to the packhouse hand in hand, happy with the news. Nullah had asked them to visit Waru’s office where she was given the files with necessary permissions to move across the territories with the seals of the Blood Moon clan. No one would dare to stop her with those. She reluctantly left Kirra behind, knowing that Kirra would be tortured during her training session. But she had to invite the Alphas from all of Australia for the ceremony which was to happen in 20 days. She had to move fast. She turned Eastwards and decided to begin with the werewolf clans of New South Wales. ****
